b'\n\t\t\tTitle: Senior Technical Writer (40 hr/week) (Remote)\nLocation: US\nJob Description:\nCompose.ly has partnered as an exclusive recruiter with a growing fintech solutions provider seeking a seasoned Senior Technical Writer for developer audiences to work alongside their in-house team and other internal stakeholders in a full-time capacity. This role will be filled on a temporary basis with the possibility of extending the contract.\nThis role is for you if you.\n\nHave proven experience working with software engineering teams and other internal stakeholders to write superior API and SDK documentation.\nPrioritize the user and their needs in your documentation, always conveying the bigger picture to ensure cohesion among topics.\nExcel at explaining complex technical information in understandable, friendly, and relatable ways.\nDemonstrate working knowledge of key terminology in one or more programming languages.\nKnow how to meet deadlines, track your work, and get the answers you need to meet aggressive deadlines consistently.\nCommunicate and collaborate professionally and efficiently with a geographically distributed team.\n\nResponsibilities\n\nKeeping pace with product development teams and adhering to style guidance and examples to produce industry-leading API and programming content.\nCollaborate closely with product engineering, product management, integration teams, and other internal stakeholders to write API documentation and programming guides.\n\nRequired skills and qualifications\n\nBachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree or higher (ideally in English, technical communications, computer science, or a similar field)\n3+ years of experience as a technical writer for a developer audience at an Agile software company\nProven experience writing detailed, user-centered API and programming documentation in a fast-paced environment \nOutstanding ability to grasp and communicate interrelationships between topics clearly and meaningfully and to present hierarchical information in a logical and consistent manner\nAdvocating for user needs and backing your opinions with experience and facts\nExperience with Markdown or another markup language, like HTML, and Swagger\nOne or more programming languages (Java, Go, Python, Typescript) and OpenAPI\nAbility to handle and prioritize multiple focus areas and tasks\nFaithfully adhering to documented standards and styles\nEnthusiasm for cross-functional collaboration with people at all levels of an organization\nAbility to work in US time zones (ideally Central Standard Time)\nA strong writing portfolio to demonstrate some or all of these skills\n\nPreferred qualifications\n\nAn advanced degree in a related discipline\nProgramming experience\nWriting with ReadMe\n\nAbout our client \nOur client maintains a fintech ecosystem enabling seamless access, frictionless investing, and investor education for clients of many shapes and sizes, providing scalable solutions that fuel innovation for hundreds of today\xe2\x80\x99s market leaders and change makers.\n\t\t'
