Regulatory Affairs Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Regulatory Affairs Specialist to lead FAA regulatory pathways across Part 21 and Part 23, as well as the MOSAIC initiative. This role involves developing certification roadmaps aligned with product strategy and ensuring compliance in partnership with engineering and flight test teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead FAA regulatory pathways across Part 21 and Part 23.
• Develop certification roadmaps aligned with product strategy.
• Draft and manage exemptions, special airworthiness certificates, and COAs.
• Engage with the FAA and international authorities for regulatory compliance.
• Prepare briefing materials, white papers, and regulator engagement plans.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 5+ years in aviation regulatory, certification, or airworthiness roles.
• Deep FAA certification experience (Part 21 and Part 23 strongly preferred).
• Familiarity with emerging aircraft categories (eVTOL, ultralight, experimental, UAS).
• Experience engaging directly with FAA, FSDOs, DERs, or ODA units.
• Strong knowledge of international certification frameworks (Transport Canada, EASA, CAA, etc.).
• Ability to operate both strategically and tactically (writing and execution).
