Job Overview

As a Payroll Support Specialist, you will be responsible for investigating and resolving payroll problems, collaborating with various teams to ensure timely solutions, and improving workflows based on identified patterns.

Responsibilities
  • Investigate and trace root causes of payroll problems
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Product, Tax, and Risk teams to resolve issues
  • Surface patterns to enhance documentation, workflows, and processes
  • Provide clear explanations to partners and stakeholders
Requirements & Qualifications
  • 4+ years in client or partner-facing role supporting technical products
  • 2+ years at a payroll provider or platform with payroll workflows
  • Experience in high-volume support environments with speed and accuracy
  • Strong investigative instincts and problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy while working efficiently
  • Fluency with ticketing systems, preferably ZenDesk
