Network Infrastructure Technician

We are seeking a skilled IT Network Infrastructure Technician to join our team. This role involves the installation, testing, and troubleshooting of various cabling systems and audio/video equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in network infrastructure and be able to work with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, terminate, test, troubleshoot, and document fiber, RF, and voice/video cabling.
• Install, test, and troubleshoot audio, video, and RF equipment.
• Install cable pathway systems including trays, racks, and J-hooks.
• Build out telecom and equipment rooms.
• Read and interpret planning documents, schematics, and drawings.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years experience in installing, testing, and repairing fiber optics, copper cabling, network/telephony, and AV systems.
• 3+ years experience with raceway/conduit and cable tray installation.
• Knowledge of BICSI, NEC, TIA/EIA standards; MM/SM fiber; Cat5e/6/6A; cable pathways.
• Proficiency with oscilloscopes, multimeters, and continuity testing.
• Able to pass Air Force background checks and travel 10-25% of the time.
