The Ground Network Specialist for Starshield will be responsible for deploying, troubleshooting, and repairing ground hardware with a small team. The role requires domestic and international travel to resolve hardware issues, ensuring reliable service and effective operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deploy, troubleshoot, and repair Starshield ground hardware.
  • Travel domestically and internationally to resolve hardware issues.
  • Diagnose and repair fiber optic and antenna hardware failures.
  • Troubleshoot onsite network and routing hardware for reliability.
  • Create and update training documents for team skill development.
  • Manage inventory, tooling, and testing equipment in the Hawthorne lab space.
Requirements & Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalency.
  • 2+ years of experience as a mechanic/technician in engineering field services.
  • 3+ years of troubleshooting electronics, communications, or avionics hardware.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering preferred.
  • Hands-on IT/network rack experience (UPS, PDUs, cables, servers).
  • Active TS/SSCI or DOE clearance is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel up to 75%.
  • Experience reading electrical and mechanical drawings and schematics.
