Customs and Trade Manager

As the Senior Manager of Customs and Trade, you will refine the import customs strategy and operating model across sourcing and logistics. This role involves owning governance for HTS classification, customs valuation, and country of origin, while partnering with Engineering, Procurement, and Strategic Finance to build landed-cost models.

Key Responsibilities

• Refine import customs strategy and operating model across sourcing and logistics.
• Own governance for HTS classification, customs valuation, and country of origin.
• Partner with Engineering, Procurement, and Strategic Finance to build landed-cost models.
• Lead broker strategy across customs brokers and freight forwarders.
• Build and scale import documentation, recordkeeping, and onboarding data.
• Collaborate with Legal, Tax, and Business on origin analysis and new markets.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in international trade operations, trade law, or cross-border ecommerce.
• Significant experience leading import customs and trade operations in high-tech hardware.
• Expertise in import classification, customs valuation, country of origin, broker management.
• Direct experience enabling hardware development, sourcing, and cross-border execution.
• Experience building AI-enabled workflows or internal tools for policy-heavy work.
• Strong writing and communication skills, translating complex customs rules into practical guidance.
