Counseling Center Counselor

Job Overview

KGA, Inc. is seeking a Counseling Center Counselor to provide short term, solution-focused treatment to individual adults and/or couples referred by the EAP Counseling staff. The counselor will conduct 45-minute counseling sessions via telephone and/or video, assess clients for additional treatment needs, and collaborate with the KGA team to provide resources when necessary.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Social Work or Counseling
• 3 years' post-graduate experience
• Licensed to the highest degree in MA
• Experience in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
• Experience in trauma-informed care, substance misuse, couple's treatment, stress management, mindfulness, and grief counseling
