Controls Engineer Manufacturing

We are seeking a skilled Automations and Controls Engineer to design and develop automation and control systems for our manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will have experience with PLC/PAC/DCS and SCADA logic implementations, ensuring compliance with IEC61131-3 standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop automation and control systems for manufacturing.
• Implement PLC/PAC/DCS and SCADA logic per IEC61131-3.
• Integrate vision systems, cobots, HMIs, and data interfaces.
• Validate systems with FAT/SAT tests, ensuring safety and compliance.
• Create detailed documentation including wiring diagrams, specifications, BOMs, and manuals.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechatronics Engineering.
• 3–5 years of experience in manufacturing controls.
• 1+ year of controls engineering in manufacturing environments.
• Expertise in IEC61131-3, PLC, PAC, DCS, MES, and SCADA systems.
• Knowledge of NEC, NFPA 70E, and ANSI/UL safety standards.
• Proficient with HMI, PID, motor sizing, and power basics.
• Familiarity with communication protocols such as Ethernet/IP, DeviceNet, CANOpen, and RS-485.
