As a Backend Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining the core infrastructure that powers our applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop scalable and robust backend solutions that drive our products forward.Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems and APIs. Collaborate with front-end developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality software solutions. Optimize application performance and ensure scalability and reliability. Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices and coding standards. Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers. Troubleshoot and debug issues to ensure smooth operation of production systems. Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience). Proven experience as a Backend Engineer or similar role. Strong proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Node.js. Experience with backend frameworks such as Express.js. Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles. Experience with relational and non-relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc. Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field. Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, etc. Familiarity with microservices architecture. Experience with DevOps practices and tools. Contributions to open-source projects or personal projects showcased on GitHub or similar platforms.
