I loved being able to customize ticket options and the excellent customer support that came with it. One downside was not being able to delete accidental purchases. Managing ticketing for my event was made easy with this platform.

The service is top-notch, with friendly and helpful staff. The image and sound quality are outstanding. Streaming live is a breeze and it works with OBS. The website could be more user-friendly though. It would be helpful if they explained how to log into the platform more clearly and provided some kind of alert when the show starts. Scanning QR codes works well, and the white-label integration with our website is also good. Let me start from the beginning. I've used other virtual event platforms before, like Whova and Cvent, for conferences successfully. When we met with the sales director at Viewstub before purchasing, we were convinced it would be perfect for our entertainment streaming needs, especially for our annual LGBTQIA Pride festival. They told us it was simple, and all we had to do was provide the event details to our account manager and they'd handle the setup for us, so we wouldn't need to be experts. They said they'd monitor everything to make sure it went smoothly. That turned out to be completely false. Yes, you get an account manager, but they just walk you through complicated steps to set up your event. There's no structured training or documentation to refer to once you're on your own. If you need help from your account manager, you have to schedule meetings at their convenience, so it's not as customer-driven as they made it seem. They are not proactive at all. You're left to fend for yourself. We would never have chosen this platform if we'd known that. It's not user-friendly at all. We were told not to worry because the AV company would know how to handle it, but they didn't. I spent almost 40 minutes at our festival on a Friday night trying to get our media set up. You can't set up your media or stream key with a phone, so if you're at the event without a laptop, you're out of luck. Our account manager set up the stream key but never checked if the media was actually working. Since you can't view the video stream from your phone, I couldn't verify it myself, and we got countless complaints. If your AV person doesn't click start stream and end stream in both StreamYard and Viewstub, your media won't upload. As a result, we have no recordings of our Friday or Saturday performances. So frustrating after paying over $2k in ticketing fees. I strongly advise against this platform. There are too many steps and involving a third party for streaming creates many opportunities for failure that can ruin your event. I essentially paid $800+ for the software and then $2k in fees for mediocre ticketing. Such a waste! Also, I really dislike that it's not mobile-friendly, especially since festival attendees use their phones. We're not solving any problems; it just added more headaches.

I really appreciate that the ticketing system works for both physical and virtual events. Patrick has been excellent to collaborate with, very professional in getting us onboarded, and he's offered useful guidance for our sales and marketing strategies. So far, I'm thoroughly satisfied with the service, and I have no complaints at the moment. Coordinating online ticket sales with in-person events used to be a constant headache. Given that some attendees are still hesitant to attend in person because of COVID, this platform has resolved that issue for us.
