The support I've received from the Vevox team has been outstanding! They've provided guidance and advice to ensure I get the most out of the platform and that it meets my needs. I don't think there's anything about the platform that I've disliked. We needed a platform to host a massive online quiz with up to 1500 users. Vevox was the only company that could provide this capacity, and we've chosen to return for the fourth year because we find it easy to use and have confidence in the platform.

I like that Vevox is more of a superpower than just a pedagogical tool. It enables fast-paced and specific educational tasks to be attractively packaged and shared with students. It's versatile, enjoyable, and allows me to hear all my students, responding to each by capturing their individual work. Vevox enables students to provide their best work without anxiety, while also letting me show them how to improve further. This strengthens the teacher-student relationship and quickens the pace of progression, making it visible immediately to the students. I also appreciate how it allows the new AI generations to use mobile technology productively in user-friendly ways. The setup of Vevox was very easy, and using it alongside Quizlet connected to Moodle works well. Paying for a Vevox account was the best choice I've made after being unhappy with Moodle as the only institutional platform. The improvement that would help in these contexts is the data download. Everything arrives in spreadsheets which is great for viewing and thinking, but not so great for using. In other words, I would present to a whole group all their work (anonymised) with comments and feedback. They all learn from each other as well as me. I learn from them. But as it stands, I have to wrap Excel cells and cut/paste multiple times. Vevox captures student voices, enhancing personalization in learning and teaching. It strengthens the teacher-student relationship by improving feedback and progression visibility. It allows me to package educational tasks attractively and use mobile technology productively, making it versatile and enjoyable.

I believe Vevox is by far the best platform for the following reasons: Major pros: - versatility of questions you can ask (for instance, I wanted the audience to guess a number on a scale from 0 to 1 with two decimal places and display a histogram of guesses along with an average guess - I can tell you no other platform was capable of anything close to this) - PowerPoint plugin works flawlessly (you don't need to upload your presentation to a Vevox online platform and display it from there; instead, Vevox integrates into your PowerPoint and allows you to add questions between slides. This is crucial because slide behavior outside PowerPoint isn't uniform, and some features like animations may not work online, or formatting may differ). Minor pros: - ease of audience connection (there's a QR code and a web address where a session ID can be entered) - even the free version has more features and works better than free versions of other platforms - great customer support. For results to display correctly, you need the Vevox plugin installed on the PowerPoint used for presentation. If presenting at a conference, you must check with organizers to install Vevox in advance or ask to present from your own laptop with the plugin installed. You also need an internet connection (obviously). These aren't 'cons' in the true sense, as no audience response tool can function without internet, but they're warnings for novice users. Vevox engages audiences like no other tool - it made my presentations easy to follow, engaging, and memorable, helping them stand out among others.
