Even though TrustCloud automates much of the SOC 2 process, I'm surprised that my favorite aspect is their customer success and support team. From onboarding and system integration to building custom integrations, they've been incredibly responsive to our numerous questions. The TrustShare site that syncs with TrustOps is very powerful. While preparing for our SOC 2 audit, we can share approved policies and monitored controls with customers. One minor thing: the platform could reduce the number of clicks needed to add evidence to a control assessment, but that's a small point since the platform is otherwise robust. We have no complaints about either the software or the people. TrustCloud lets our startup pursue SOC 2 compliance quickly and with confidence.

More affordable options for smaller companies would be great. 2. Learning Curve: Even though it's user-friendly, there's still a learning curve when you start. Additional tutorials and resources would help users get up to speed more quickly. TrustCloud has been a huge asset in simplifying data privacy compliance. It's helped me understand and adhere to regulations like GDPR and CCPA, protecting me from fines. The automation of time-consuming tasks such as data mapping and risk assessments has lightened my workload. It also provides tools to safeguard customer data, enhancing trust and preventing breaches that could lead to financial loss and reputational damage. The ability to consult experts on privacy matters has been invaluable. Overall, TrustCloud has made data privacy manageable and given me peace of mind.

The team's expertise on the controls and policies needed for a SOC 2 audit, along with the software's ability to show your current status and gaps, was excellent. It took me a while to understand the different products and I often got lost looking for something in the wrong product. Improving the information architecture or menus would be helpful. It serves as both a GRC tool and compliance consultant.

For me, that means less manual evidence gathering during audits, faster control implementation and tracking across frameworks like SOC 2 and ISO 27001, and real-time risk monitoring to prioritize impactful security tasks. Overall, it saves time, lowers risk, and bridges the gap between security, compliance, and engineering teams.

Occasionally, the reasoning behind certain automated tests isn't clear, and better flexibility or documentation of system tagging and classification would help, but support promptly clarifies any questions. TrustCloud centralizes all our SOC 2 controls, policies, and evidence, making the renewal process much more manageable. Automated tests and reminders ensure we meet recurring requirements without missing deadlines.

The interface is intuitive, and the customer success team deserves praise for their constant support. We also get reminders for manual tasks through the platform and email when updates are due. That said, there's room for UX improvements—some features don't work as flawlessly as they could, like handling lists, spotting issues during evidence uploads, and searching for information, which can be time-consuming. The platform cuts the effort needed for compliance, and we achieved SOC 2 and ISO 27001 in a short period because it's so straightforward. Since controls apply to multiple standards at once, maintaining compliance takes less effort, and API integrations automate many tests, further reducing man-hours for control implementation and upkeep.

Although advanced reporting and customization could be more adaptable, and some integrations need extra setup for smooth operation, the platform is user-friendly and keeps our compliance organized. It consolidates all our compliance activities, tracks risks, and automates evidence collection, replacing the chaos of spreadsheets and manual processes with a structured system. That leads to better accuracy, less time spent on audits, and steady compliance with minimal hassle.

An all-in-one solution for internal policies and staff training. What stands out most is the inability to start a video and navigate away—that forced engagement is critical, especially for someone in HR. Honestly, there's nothing negative to say; we've only gone through one cycle, but it's been great so far. It's essential for mandatory compliance, security, and harassment training, which every organization should have in 2026.
