There's little we dislike, though some concerns have arisen over time: (1) the cost is on the higher side, (2) there are sometimes notable differences between Siteimprove Analytics and Google Analytics numbers (even real-time data differs significantly), and (3) the SEO add-ons are appealing but hard to justify from an educational budget. For the University, the primary benefit is accessibility monitoring and reporting, as we must comply with WCAG 2.x AA standards. Secondary uses include content quality tracking (such as language level, broken links, misspellings), governance tools for searching keywords or elements across the site, and an intuitive analytics tool for end users. Overall, these features help ensure the University complies with legal requirements and delivers the best service to our website visitors—students, faculty, and staff alike.

The reporting interface is incredibly powerful. You can access any data you need about your websites. The strong focus on accessibility is a big plus. However, you really do need training to navigate and generate reports effectively. New users will face a learning curve when trying to jump right into the dashboard. We can see accessibility percentages for our pages and run reports to search keywords during in-depth page reviews.

We barely touch it since it's more hassle than help. Siteimprove is an old-fashioned, unresponsive system that frequently lags, and its content or SEO capabilities yield less than what Google or chatbots provide. Their management's questionable tactics—like auto-renewing contracts without clear notification or a simple cancellation process—deserve scrutiny. Moreover, their guidance and support are abysmal. Every aspect is troublesome: the interface is confusing, glitchy, and not user-friendly. It's antiquated software with no clear roadmap to modern standards. Getting started was tough, the instructions were unhelpful, and customer service was nonexistent. No value whatsoever.

What stands out most is how straightforward Siteimprove is to use, which makes navigation and utilization a breeze. The user-friendly interface and layout boost my efficiency, allowing me to concentrate on enhancing our website instead of wrestling with the tool. Additionally, the support team's expertise is top-notch—they're always quick to respond and resolve any issues or questions I have, giving me confidence in using Siteimprove for accessibility, SEO, and marketing projects while upholding our quality standards. However, I'm let down that Siteimprove doesn't work as smoothly with Joomla as I'd prefer. Its integration capabilities are strong for other platforms, but the Joomla gap is a hindrance. Also, the data export feature has room for improvement, as the PDFs it generates are sometimes less polished than expected. Common usage: I employ Siteimprove to boost our website's performance by tackling accessibility issues, refining SEO, deploying marketing tactics, and maintaining quality benchmarks.

The SEO dashboard's concise summary lets me quickly spot broken hyperlinks, typos, and meta tags that could use improvement. It's straightforward and intuitive, so I find myself turning to it on a weekly basis. Since my focus is mainly on content rather than the technical backend, the more complex SEO features aren't essential for me.
