About Safetica

Safetica is an AI-powered intelligent data security platform that integrates data protection, insider risk management, cloud security, and compliance into a single solution. It is designed to protect businesses against insider threats, prevent data loss, and support regulatory compliance without slowing down teams. Safetica combines behavioral signals, data classification, and user identity to provide contextual defense—proactively blocking careless or malicious activity while minimizing disruption to productivity. The platform offers four core pillars: Data Protection (classify, monitor, and control sensitive data in real time), Insider Risk (spot risky behavior and stop threats before damage), Compliance & Discovery (prove compliance with GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS, and ensure audit-ready reporting), and Cloud Security (protect Microsoft 365, Google Drive, and other file-sharing platforms). Safetica serves over 5,000 customers in 120+ countries, with 550+ partners. AiDOOS enhances deployment and adoption by providing a streamlined implementation process, personalized onboarding, and ongoing support, ensuring organizations can quickly configure policies, integrate with existing infrastructure (like Entra ID and SIEM), and maximize their security posture. With pricing starting at $72 per user annually (or $6 per user monthly), Safetica offers flexible plans including Cloud Standard, Premium, Enterprise, and On-Prem options to suit various business sizes and compliance requirements.

"User-Friendly and an Ideal Addition to IT Security"
I really like how easy Safetica is to install and roll out; the client agent is unobtrusive. The web-based admin console in the newer versions is very intuitive and simple to manage, and it works well with various tools. I also appreciate the wealth of documentation available for getting the console set up and deploying to clients, especially with the latest versions. I'd recommend it for how well it complements the information security tools needed in a corporate setting, plus the ease of generating reports and rules. Email monitoring or leak detection integrates smoothly with Outlook, but when it comes to Google emails via web browsers, it's unclear where the data is being sent, making monitoring difficult. I use Safetica to oversee user activities, which complements our IT tools and ensures adherence to corporate policies. It's easy to deploy and offers a clear picture of how computing resources are utilized.

"Strong DLP Tool with User-Friendly Features"
Safetica is a data loss prevention tool that does well in stopping insider threats and lowering the chances of data exfiltration. It comes with many features that handle most exfiltration scenarios and works across various data locations and access points, including email, web, Microsoft environments, and network shares. I also like that the initial setup was fairly easy with their support; building rules was simple, and the interface is easy to navigate. However, the ability to deeply customize rules and exclude machines from audit logs is missing, which could speed up processing, especially for archives (compression/decompression). Safetica is employed to thwart insider threats and reduce data exfiltration risk, covering scenarios across emails, web, Microsoft environment, and beyond.

"Safetica Boosted Our Security with Enhanced Visibility and Oversight"
After running Safetica for a year non-stop, it has proven to be a vital component in reinforcing our information security stance. It not only helps prevent incidents but also fosters visibility, control, and a culture around responsible handling of corporate data. Like any security tool with broad impact, adopting Safetica also highlighted areas for improvement, particularly in the adjustment phase, operational refinement, and change management. One of the biggest wins has been its indirect effect on organizational culture: It has encouraged greater mindfulness about proper information handling. Users recognize that controls exist but also that support is available. The narrative has changed from surveillance to protecting business data and processes.

"Simple Deployment and Strong Protection"
I appreciate that Safetica is a DLP solution that's easy to use, roll out, and set up. It does an excellent job of preventing data leaks, and I also like having measurable metrics and instant notifications. The ease of implementation is something I really appreciate. However, the client updates aren't automatic and need to be handled manually. Additionally, moving from Safetica 10.5 to 11 doesn't preserve the settings that were previously configured. With Safetica, we ensure protection against information leaks, obtain measurable metrics, and get real-time alerts.

"Reassuring Web Safety and Simplified Breach Tracking"
The sense of security it provides is what I value most. I don't want to spy on my staff, but it does let me block access to dangerous sites. And in case of a data breach, tracing the issue becomes much simpler. It's generally user-friendly, and with the new interface, deploying to users appears easier. I do run into occasional update issues; the old interface was a bit more straightforward. Also, sometimes users get auto-created, and on a single PC, there might be two or three licenses tied up because another user logged in at some point. Constantly reminding people to be careful with their browsing and online actions is stressful. With Safetica, that's no longer necessary.

"Thorough Monitoring with Seamless DLP Integration"
Safetica offers complete employee monitoring and smooth integration with Data Loss Prevention (DLP) systems. The latest version also includes a feature to tag files directly from the file explorer. However, performance suffers when handling a large number of files, and the built-in labeling is quite basic; there's no simple way to change a file's label once it's applied. Safetica assists us in demonstrating during security audits that we have proper control over our data. It gives us insight into how data is used and ensures that sensitive information is watched and safeguarded, which boosts our compliance and overall data security.

"Intuitive Interface and Robust Security"
What I appreciate about Safetica is its straightforward management, thanks to a user-friendly interface that makes policy setup clear. It also covers all DLP essentials, which helps in collecting information on the console and aids in identifying and addressing security issues early on. The initial configuration was fairly simple and currently satisfies my requirements. One area that could be improved is the automatic refresh of computer names, as it doesn't happen automatically. If you install Safetica and it shows in the console, then later rename the PC, the console doesn't reflect that change. Safetica enables me to manage user access and keep an eye on logs. Its intuitive interface simplifies policy configuration. Plus, it includes everything a DLP needs, helping to boost security and catch breaches early.

"Safetica in practice: strengths, weaknesses, and key considerations"
The best part about Safetica is that it genuinely safeguards information without causing hassle. Many security tools claim to handle everything but end up being complicated or dragging down device performance. With Safetica, my experience has been far more seamless. One aspect I truly appreciate is its capability to spot and stop leaks of confidential data. If someone attempts to send sensitive info—like ID numbers, phone digits, or client files—outside the organization, the system catches it and can either block it or notify the admin. This happens without needing to manually supervise each user. I'm also fond of how clear the reports and alerts are. Safetica doesn't just give raw technical logs; it converts that data into something comprehensible, perfect for showing to an auditor or the compliance team. Another advantage is its smooth compatibility with Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and Intune. If you're already using these, the rollout is quicker and fits better with your existing setup. Plus, it's a product that keeps evolving. Safetica receives frequent updates, adding new capabilities, security patches, and tweaks based on real-world situations. This is backed by responsive and well-documented support that genuinely helps when you need to clarify things or fine-tune settings. In short, Safetica strikes me as a very well-rounded solution between security and ease of use. It doesn't disrupt daily tasks yet maintains strong control over data. It's an excellent choice if you want to secure company information without adding operational complexity. One downside is that the admin interface can feel a bit cluttered initially. It has lots of options, which is great for experienced users but might overwhelm a novice admin or someone new to DLP tools. Another thing I observed is that policies need some adjustment to avoid false alarms. At first, it might block legitimate actions if the detection rules aren't calibrated properly. So, there's a learning curve to find the right balance between control and flexibility. I also think the advanced reports could be faster to generate. When the database holds a lot of data, it takes a few extra seconds to produce the more detailed reports. Finally, although its Microsoft integration is excellent, connections with other environments or third-party apps could be broader, especially if your company uses tools outside the Microsoft stack. Safetica addresses one of the biggest challenges in any business: the unauthorized or accidental leakage of sensitive information. Prior to using it, we had little insight into what data was leaving the company or how. With Safetica, that changed completely. A major problem it solves is the control over confidential information. If someone tries to copy data to a USB drive, upload files to the cloud, or send them via personal email, the system detects and can block it or issue an alert. This helps prevent accidental or deliberate leaks that could be costly. It also tackles the issue of lacking traceability. Safetica lets you know who accessed what info, when, and from where, which is invaluable during audits or internal probes. Another clear benefit is reducing compliance risks with data protection laws (like GDPR or local regulations). Having controls and reports ready makes it easier to show that the organization takes care of customer and employee personal data. From a practical standpoint, it has given me peace of mind. I no longer worry about whether an employee accidentally sent a sensitive document or if someone is trying to extract data through external channels. Safetica monitors and protects in the background, without interfering with daily work.

"Full-featured DLP tool"
I've found the tracking of data flowing through endpoints and other devices to be quite valuable, and the reports it generates are quite thorough. Moreover, the tool is straightforward to deploy and manage whether in the cloud or on-premises. And they're continuously rolling out updates and enhancements. However, occasionally some version updates don't apply correctly to the endpoints, so we have to do those updates by hand. There's a large volume of data moving across our network, and Safetica assists us in uncovering all the actions taken with that data. Additionally, with the new perspective feature, we get notifications about who's dealing with sensitive information.

"Useful DLP Dashboard but Support Lags"
The dashboard in Safetica stands out to me because it presents a straightforward and uncluttered snapshot of all endpoint data activity as it happens. The reporting capabilities are also strong, making it straightforward to pull the necessary information for management and compliance purposes. The main drawback I see is in their support team. Their responsiveness is sluggish, and getting issues resolved takes longer than I'd like. All in all, the product itself works well, but the support side really needs a lot of improvement. In our organization, we rely on Safetica for data loss prevention. It enables us to keep tabs on and control sensitive data, stop unauthorized transfers, and stay in line with our security policies. The dashboard gives us real-time visibility, and the reporting tools make management and compliance reviews easier.
