Remo Conference

It is the perfect platform to host recruitment events. I love that each table is its own room and we can host everyone on one platform. I wish that the size of the tables could be larger, if there was a way to go up to 20 participants at a table that would be great. We are hosting a large recruitment event where we have over 60 hiring managers attend on multiple days. This platform is allowing us to host everyone in one setting and let the candidates network with multiple tables.

I appreciated the customer service from Aniket and how helpful, patient, and accommodating he was. He truly went above and beyond to help us. I liked that we could have multiple events at once, and the banner feature was a nice addition. The screen sharing on the PowerPoint app was not as straightforward as it seemed. Remo is letting us have the capability to host a large virtual conference as well as meetings and sessions that are easy to understand.

Ease of use. The platform is very flexible for all sorts of business event forum needs. New users find it easy to navigate, and the rich feature list is ideal for highly effective virtual collaboration. The account team is highly responsive as well! The sub-room whiteboard feature is pretty demanding. We had scenarios where even when moving to a different room, the whiteboard followed the user. I think this has been fixed since. We needed to rapidly set up a forum that would have a large lobby and many large break-out rooms with specific pre-defined characteristics. The Remo platform was ideal for this use case and enabled a configurable reliable forum for single use.

It offers a very 'true-to-life' experience! You feel like you are with people in person! I wish the seat selection was a bit more intuitive, i.e., pointing to a seat outside you in that particular seat. As it is currently, you are seated based on the order set when the floor plan was designed. It offers an exciting experience for meetings, which makes participants more likely to show up enthusiastic! It is easy to set up and use. Also, customer support is fast and they usually respond quickly.

Recreating a real-life event: options to network, integrate keynote speeches, panel talks, interactive touchpoints, and more. Also, our contact person is always available and helps us create the event as individual as we need. We really like the cost/benefit. There are some limitations, such as the number of people per floor or table. Some smaller functionalities tailored to our needs (for instance, a speaker in presentation mode cannot see raised hands.) Our customers have limited time and need to save travel costs. With a digital event, we can reach everyone.

Having used Remo for three years as both a conference host and participant, I really appreciate how user-friendly it is. From the host perspective, setting up an event is easy. I completed my setup in under 10 minutes, including selecting a floor plan, adding branding, and labeling tables. I find it offers a better flow for participants, and it's just really fun to see everyone moving around. I've thoroughly enjoyed my experience with Remo and highly recommend it for any virtual events. The customer support has been phenomenal! Whether it was getting the initial quote, set-up, troubleshooting, etc., their team is always immediately responsive and helpful. Remo beats out Teams and Zoom by a mile! I'm sure this is the same feature anywhere else, but it would be nice if breakout room content could be individually recorded. We are a state-wide non-profit organization that brings together people from across the state for training and networking. It allows our membership to meet without the large overhead of an in-person conference. As professionals in public higher education, we always face limited budgets, and Remo gives us the ability to overcome that barrier while meeting our members' needs.

Initially, it was my interaction with Aniket that gave me the confidence to choose Remo and place my full trust in it. This was a huge event with over 280 participants accessing the platform simultaneously. The flexibility Remo offered helped us execute it perfectly. It replicated the feel of our actual in-person event. A major plus was having synchronized sessions running in real time at once. However, participants were split between two floors, which made it difficult to restrict movement. If there was an option to lock certain participants to a table rather than locking the table itself, it would allow judges to move freely while participants remained at their tables, preventing them from moving around and viewing other presentations. Locking 45 tables was challenging and led to privacy being compromised. It enabled us to run multiple sessions simultaneously instead of scheduling typical breakout rooms or back-to-back meetings. The experience Remo provided was exactly what we would have had if the event were held in person. Additionally, it successfully wore out the judges from running around, just like they would at a physical event. The judges appreciated having their own breakout room to collaborate on judging sheets or simply relax from the virtual running around.

What I truly appreciate about Remo is how effectively it supports large, interactive virtual events like the career fairs I organize each year. The platform makes it easy to bring together large groups while still providing a more personal and engaging experience for attendees. One of my favorite features is the ability to customize the event layout to match how we run our fairs. Setting up tables, branding, and different spaces for employees and candidates helps the event feel organized and purposeful rather than just another massive video call. It enables participants to move around, have meaningful conversations, and network naturally. Overall, Remo has been an excellent tool for creating structured yet interactive virtual career fairs, and it consistently helps us deliver a smooth, engaging experience for both hosts and attendees. At this point, I don't have any specific dislikes to mention. My experience with Remo has been very positive, and it has consistently supported our events in a seamless and effective way. Remo helps solve the challenge of bringing people from all over the country together in a way that still feels interactive and personal. Instead of relying on traditional virtual meetings that can feel crowded or limiting, the platform creates a shared space where attendees can easily connect, network, and move between conversations. For our events, the biggest advantage is having everyone in one place without travel costs, while still maintaining the structure and engagement of an in-person career fair. The ability to organize tables, facilitate smaller group discussions, and allow natural networking makes the experience more meaningful for both hosts and participants. Ultimately, Remo helps us create accessible, well-organized events that foster connection and conversation regardless of location.

We used Remo to host an Open Space session with remote participants, and the overall experience was extremely positive. What really impressed us was how effortlessly we could create a sense of presence and movement within the space. The ability for attendees to freely pick tables and move around matched the Open Space concept perfectly, leading to a much more natural and engaging experience than typical video meetings. The interface is visual and intuitive, so participants quickly figured out how to interact without needing extensive instructions. We also saw an increase in spontaneous conversations and overall higher engagement levels. The integration with Miro worked smoothly and added significant value for visual collaboration. That said, we hit a few minor glitches where Miro boards would occasionally close, which disrupted the flow as participants had to reopen them. One area for improvement is the occasional technical hiccups, like sound cutting out or video lagging. Some participants needed extra guidance to feel completely comfortable. Overall, Remo is an excellent tool for interactive digital formats such as workshops, Open Space sessions, and networking events where engagement is crucial. There are a couple of things that could be improved. We encountered some friction with the Miro integration, where boards would periodically close and need to be reopened, interrupting the flow. Another limitation was in presentation mode. Participants don't automatically see and hear everyone; they need to be brought 'on stage' to fully participate. For conversational and open formats like Open Space, this creates friction and breaks the flow, making interactions feel less fluid and more controlled than intended. However, with a different floor design, the concept would work perfectly. Before using Remo, it was challenging to create engaging and participant-driven remote sessions. Traditional video conferencing tools made it hard to facilitate formats like Open Space, where movement, spontaneity, and small group discussions are essential. With Remo, we can now replicate a more natural and dynamic interaction online. Participants can move freely between tables, join conversations organically, and engage in ways that feel much closer to physical workshops. This has significantly increased participation and the quality of discussions. It has also made it easier to facilitate complex group processes remotely, reducing the need for heavy facilitation and allowing participants to take more ownership of their experience. As a result, we see higher engagement, more spontaneous collaboration, and better overall outcomes from our sessions.

As a dietitian and nutritionist managing a homeopathy clinic and creating health content for social media, a major part of my role involves educating people on nutrition and healthy living through online material and awareness campaigns. Overall performance has been solid in my experience – setup is efficient, navigation is intuitive, pages load fast, and attendee management is easy. Keeping track of different event aspects feels organized, allowing me to concentrate on delivering content rather than dealing with technical problems. Whenever I need to host a virtual event, training session, networking opportunity, or community discussion, Remo Conference provides all the essential tools in one place. It strikes a good balance between ease of use, functionality, flexibility, engagement, and event management while remaining professional. The customization options for event spaces are helpful, but I sometimes think the setup area could be more streamlined. Some settings are scattered across different sections, and the website interface could be simplified in certain spots. There are plenty of useful options, which is good for flexibility, but new users might need a bit of time to get familiar with the event creation and management process. It's helping me create more interactive virtual events instead of sessions where attendees just listen. In health awareness programs, educational events, and community discussions, keeping people engaged is tough with standard video meetings. With Remo, I can combine event management, attendee engagement, networking, and communication in one place. Features such as attendee interaction, networking tables, discussions, and event organization contribute to a more dynamic and participative atmosphere. It also simplifies managing registrations, attendees, and event activities without juggling multiple tools. This keeps virtual events organized while encouraging greater participation and interaction. As someone in health education, I find it useful for sparking conversations on wellness and lifestyle topics where people can engage with both speakers and fellow attendees.
