I appreciate the policy routes that allow us to customize and create exceptions. However, misconfiguring policies can block legitimate emails. Automated suggestions would improve the product. I handle spam, phishing, TLS enforcement, SPF, DKIM, and DMARC. Implementing DMARC saved the organization money, and I'm more productive now. Business performance has improved as phishing email flow has decreased.

It includes TAP with embedded forensics, TRAP to auto-remove malicious emails, and the Admin Center for management. Hardly anything to dislike, though the TAP UI could show more info and easier email delivery details. We stop 99% of email attacks, versus 60-70% with Office 365, so our SOC isn't overloaded. Proofpoint Enterprise also lets you configure policies to block password-protected ZIPs. It's far superior to other email security tools, offering TAP, TRAP, and a central admin console.

During deployments, I found this to be top-tier email security. Its detection of APT and spear phishing is robust and impressive. It offers many tuning options and an easy, attractive dashboard for admins. The malicious email detection rate during POCs was nearly 99.9%, and its sandboxing is among the best. I'd strongly recommend it for those worried about phishing, though the cost is high and may be prohibitive for small businesses. Still, it's worth the investment. Deploying it, I saw malicious emails reaching users drop to almost zero.
