"Collaborative Screen Management with Simple Sharing and Smart TV App"
It's easy to share files (folders) and playlist access across users, which makes managing the screens a shared responsibility and really encourages collaboration. I also like how simple it is to upload images and drop them straight into a playlist. The website runs quickly, so making updates is smooth and hassle-free. And being able to use the app on a smart TV is a huge win! The feature for creating your own asset can feel a bit clunky at times. For instance, when I increase the size of a text box, it seems to treat the text like an image, so the text can end up stretched. I also find it difficult to format text so it sits neatly across multiple lines. I'd also like a "duplicate" asset option while editing a slide. Right now, I can only duplicate pages from the file manager screen, but it would be really helpful to be able to do this directly while I'm on the slide. It's helping us share information with as many people on site as possible. Previously, we had feedback from staff that they felt out of the loop. By using OptiSign, I've been able to take company-wide emails and other communications and display them on screens throughout the site, so everyone stays informed, making it easily integrated into our current processes.
"Flexible Displays with Real-Time Updates"
There are lots of options for displays and presentations, and they are all user friendly. We especially like being able to show our social media pages along with our newest Google reviews. The display performance also stays consistently up to date—it doesn't lag or need to play catch-up the way some other options we've tried have. The pricing is very reasonable as well. We haven't needed to reach out to support so far other than the demo we had, and the team was very friendly and helpful. We have not had any downsides to using the service so far. We don't need to create content to show in our lobby for clients or potential clients to view; it is already created and can be customized as needed (if needed). This saves a ton of time while still being entertaining and useful for anyone wanting to know more about our business.
"Streamlined Multi-Screen Scheduling and Content Updates"
What I like best about OptiSigns is how easy it is to create, schedule, and manage content across multiple screens. The platform is intuitive, making it simple to update displays without a steep learning curve. I also appreciate the flexibility to upload custom graphics, organize playlists, and schedule content in advance, which helps keep information current and relevant without requiring constant manual updates. The biggest downside for me is that content creation is still largely done outside of OptiSigns. The platform is great for scheduling and managing displays, but I would like to see more built-in design tools and template options to make quick edits and updates easier. OptiSigns helps us communicate important information in a visible and consistent way across our office. Instead of relying solely on emails or meetings, we can share announcements, events, and company updates through digital displays. This improves awareness, saves time, and helps create a more engaging and professional workplace environment.

"User-Friendly, Affordable, and Customer-Centric"
After researching many different options for our digital displays, I stumbled across OptiSigns. Setting up an account was easy, the interface is very user friendly, the customer service has been extremely helpful with very quick response times. The templates that are offered are very easy to edit, and once your images/digital files are ready to go, the interface allows your new images to go live instantly, it's so fast! The AI capabilities allow for anyone to create/edit digital files even if they have no prior digital creation experience. The interface integration with our display screens was very easy to setup. The pricing was very reasonable and much better than other options that offered similar services. Would highly recommend this company to others! The only thing I have found that I didn't like was during my trial period, I wanted to add a third screen and was not allowed. Though the trial stated you could have up to three screens. It was in the fine print that it was only three screens if they were certain ones. My third screen didn't qualify. We recently updated our loyalty program as well as our fountain machines. We wanted a way to let customers know of these changes so we added screens above our new fountain machines. I was able to create a slideshow that showcases all of our new changes and also upcoming changes.
"Simple Remote Management for All Your Screens"
You can manage all your screens remotely in one place for a fair price. OptiSigns is straightforward to use, with an easily navigable interface that keeps screens, playlists, and schedules right at your fingertips. The onboarding and tech support options are solid, which makes it very easy to train staff on how to use it. If there are any performance issues or a screen goes down, it flags it quickly. It also integrates with Canva, and you can use AI as well. I'd really like to see an undo button for those moments when I accidentally mess up the screen rotation. The "apply to all screens" button can feel a bit scary, because if you make a mistake it affects everything at once. Better integration between Canva and OptiSigns would also be very helpful, since many teams use Canva to create their screens. OptiSigns makes it really easy to program our screens. I can manage everything remotely, and we're currently in the process of converting all of our screens on campus to the OptiSigns provider, since USBs feel dated and can be frustrating to keep updated.
"Dependable, Budget-Friendly OptiSigns Player with Remote Updates and Versatile Playlists"
We deployed the OptiSigns Android Digital Signage Player at Camp Takajo to power a large digital display in our dining hall, and it has quickly become one of the most valuable communication tools on campus. The player has been rock solid. Once configured, it has been reliable, boots quickly, and has handled continuous daily operation without any issues. We use it to display rotating image galleries, the daily menu, camp announcements, schedules for our three camper age groups, weather forecasts, live sports scores, and even the FIFA World Cup bracket. Updating content remotely through the OptiSigns web portal is straightforward, allowing our staff to make changes in seconds without ever touching the display. One feature we especially appreciate is the flexibility. We can mix static content, web pages, dashboards, images, and dynamic widgets into a single playlist that keeps campers and staff informed throughout the day. The scheduling features also make it easy to display different content at different times. For organizations like schools, camps, community centers, or businesses that need an affordable, reliable digital signage solution, the OptiSigns Android Digital Signage Player is an excellent choice. It provides outstanding value for the price and has exceeded our expectations in both reliability and ease of management. The processor seems a bit slow at times and after pushing updated content to the screen, sometimes assets that are not in the playlist are displayed, which is strange. Also, some images are cropped too severely on the small-side edges when using the "Zoom" setting. Before implementing OptiSigns, communicating timely information to hundreds of campers and staff in one central location required printed signs that quickly became outdated or verbal announcements that were easy to miss. Keeping everyone informed about schedule changes, meal information, activities, and weather was time consuming and inefficient. OptiSigns has given us a single, always-current source of information in our dining hall. We can instantly update the daily menu, announcements, activity schedules for our three camper age groups, weather forecasts, sports scores, and special events from anywhere through the web portal. This has reduced the need for printed materials, minimized confusion, and ensured everyone sees the same up-to-date information throughout the day. It has also made our dining hall feel more engaging by displaying photos, videos, and live information that campers and staff actually enjoy watching while they eat.

"Immediate Data Visibility and Professional Storefront Look"
What I value most about OptiSigns is its combination of ease of use and flexibility. The cloud-based dashboard is straightforward: updating content, managing remote screens, and setting up playlists takes minimal time, which is crucial in a fast-paced retail setting. Reliability is also a highlight; once configured, the screen runs without constant monitoring. A drawback we encountered with FreeX is that the learning curve for advanced features (like complex playlist logic or triggers) is steeper than expected, especially if you only need basic functions like displaying sales reports. Additionally, we'd welcome a more native integration with specific BI tools like Zoined; currently, the connection is somewhat manual. OptiSigns primarily addressed our issue at FreeX of manually and time-consumingly sharing sales data with the shop floor team. Previously, employees had to look up reports themselves or only saw sales performance later. Now, we automatically display our Zoined sales report on a store screen, giving everyone real-time insight into results. This boosts team awareness and motivation. It also saves us time: we no longer need separate communication to share figures because the screen does it continuously and automatically. This creates more transparency within the team and allows for quick adjustments when targets aren't met. Another key advantage is the customer-facing visibility. The in-store screen looks professional and dynamic, giving visitors a modern, well-maintained impression of the FreeX brand. So, it not only contributes internally to transparency but also enhances the store's appearance and customer experience.
"Versatile and User-Friendly Display with 3CX Integration"
The adaptability of both the software and hardware has been a major advantage for us. Initially, we only needed a simple display to show call queues for our Reservations call center, but after exploring the various features, I can see we'll utilize it for much more. The interface is intuitive, and I appreciate that I can edit from a mobile app as well. Changes go live almost instantly, and it integrates seamlessly with our 3CX telephone system's web page to display exactly what our team needs. The pricing is excellent for what we get. We've only used one device so far, but I'll be showing it to our Marketing team soon, so I anticipate we'll purchase more. The website support is great, and since everything is straightforward, I haven't hit any obstacles yet. I haven't delved into all the AI/Intelligence features yet—no need so far, but it's early days—but who knows what we'll use those smart features for next. I can definitely see us using these integrations, especially since we've started using Claude and CoPilot. Perhaps when we roll them out to our stores, we'll explore the audience intelligence features to see how much impact our designs have. I'm really pleased with everything so far. Honestly, there's nothing that stands out as a negative. It worked exactly as I hoped: fast and simple to set up, and dependable in operation. We're using it to display call center phone queues, missed calls, etc. We could have done this with a full Windows PC, but with memory and storage costs as they are, it made sense to use an OptiSigns stick and software.
"Remote Screen Management from Anywhere—Quick and Simple"
OptiSigns has revolutionized our screen management. The best part is the ability to update content from anywhere, whether I'm using the desktop version at my office or making a fast edit via the mobile app when I'm out and about. It's speedy and effortless. I don't have to be near the restaurant or wait until I'm back at a computer; I can change a beer list or upload new material from my phone in seconds. This remote access alone has saved us a lot of time and made our signs much more responsive to daily changes. The only thing I wish for is the option to add multiple images at once on mobile. Because of this, I don't have to visit our locations to update our beer menus, which change frequently! As a brewery, you can imagine how useful that is!
"Transformed Our Food Truck Operations"
This solution has completely changed how our food truck operates. We can modify our menu while on the move, which lets us showcase items prominently. I'm able to make adjustments from inside the vehicle as we travel between events, altering what customers see and the offerings we present. The performance has been excellent. However, the mobile app isn't quite up to par. Also, it's baffling that “push to screen” essentially removes items from the display. So there's some non-intuitive terminology you have to get used to. It allows us to communicate with customers and change our menu effortlessly and at no cost! Previously, we had to purchase new menus for every different event. Now we just log online and make changes on the fly—even when I'm nowhere near the truck, and it updates automatically.
