About nOps

nOps is a cloud cost optimization and FinOps platform designed to help organizations automate the management of their cloud spending across AWS, Azure, and GCP. The platform leverages AI to provide autonomous commitment management, maximizing discounts while minimizing lock-in risk. It offers comprehensive cost visibility and allocation, enabling teams to understand and allocate cloud costs at an hourly level across multicloud, Kubernetes, and AI services. nOps also includes an AI-powered FinOps agent to answer cost-related questions and assist with tasks. The platform is known for its ease of use, with onboarding in minutes and no infrastructure changes required. It manages over $5 billion in annual cloud spend for more than 500 innovative brands and startups, delivering an average effective savings rate of 55%. nOps' capabilities include automated rate optimization, anomaly detection, forecasting, and integration with tools like Slack, Jira, and Datadog. The platform offers a free 30-minute savings analysis and a 14-day free trial.

Challenges It Solves

  • Manual cloud cost optimization fails to scale and is time-consuming.
  • Long-term commitments create lock-in risk, especially with evolving AI workloads.
  • Lack of visibility into cloud spending across multiple providers and AI services.
  • Difficulty in achieving significant savings (most teams only save ~25%) without autonomous tools.

"Risk-free savings and excellent support"
No-risk savings on AWS Compute with nOps. There aren't many options for Serverless Savings yet. They reduce costs on core AWS services and provide better insights into all costs through their excellent dashboard.

"Excellent cost savings"
Integration into our AWS environment was straightforward. They offer excellent reporting, and the cost savings have been substantial. I haven't found any downsides. It lowers monthly costs for dedicated instances.

"Outstanding support team"
They are very responsive and always willing to help with any issues. We regret not starting earlier to manage AWS spend. They're helping reduce EC2 costs by ensuring we don't run unneeded instances and properly use reserved instances.

"Great partner with significant savings and guidance"
The nOps dashboard is well-designed and easy to navigate. The team is extremely helpful and proactive in reviewing usage and savings opportunities with us. Their regular engagement has saved us thousands of dollars. I'd work with nOps anytime in a complex AWS environment; the team and product are excellent. Earlier dashboard versions were harder to navigate, but updates have improved it. They optimize our AWS infrastructure, saving us thousands each month.

"Knowledgeable and trustworthy partnership"
They're very transparent and genuinely focused on saving you money. Integration is simple, and the dashboard is helpful. Their support responds quickly, is knowledgeable, and exceeded my expectations in resolving issues. Some documentation pages could be clearer, but it's typical for the industry. They handled cost reduction so our team could concentrate on other tasks.

"Strong support and effective FinOps solution"
I've used nOps Compute Co-Pilot for several months, and it has significantly reduced our AWS EC2 costs. The platform continuously manages, scales, and optimizes our compute resources, ensuring we always get the best prices. A standout feature is their 100% commitment utilization guarantee, which gives credits for any unused Reserved Instances they recommended, adding financial assurance. However, some advanced reporting features require an additional subscription; without it, reporting can feel limited. Despite that, the core functionality is valuable. Overall, I highly recommend nOps as a FinOps partner for organizations optimizing AWS spending, especially with their commitment to RI EC2 cost.

"Actionable cost savings with integrated automation"
We've been with nOps for nearly two years, and it immediately saved us thousands of dollars monthly while we implemented longer-term cost-saving architectures. It provides immediate savings and better visibility across the entire AWS Organization. Delegating savings plans and node selection to nOps freed my team to focus on core architectural cost-saving strategies while still saving money. There were a few bumps, like mis-sized instances or over-aggressive automations, but nOps quickly acknowledged and fixed them. Though not perfect operationally, their service and communication gave me confidence. With Savings plan delegation, we no longer track expiring plans. Node selection automation lets nOps choose the best cost/performance nodes. In the future, container right-sizing will optimize EKS efficiency.

"nOps Achieves Top Savings with Outstanding Results"
Among the few automated commitment management platforms, nOps delivers the best outcomes and highest savings. The team is excellent, and support is very responsive. There's nothing to dislike. nOps automates commitment management for AWS, GCP, and Azure, and compared to competitors, this vendor can save more.

"Our definitive source for AWS cost down to container level"
The developer API gives us granular cost visibility per container, breaking EKS spend down to namespace and application levels via the Cluster Application Cost view—something AWS's native tags never provided. It also flags idle Excess Capacity we wouldn't have noticed otherwise. With a clean API, we pulled organization-wide costs, per-app breakdowns, and Savings Plan/RI coverage into our automated weekly and monthly reports. Most importantly, nOps figures match AWS Cost Explorer exactly, so we consider it our authoritative source rather than another conflicting dashboard. The main issue was the API's discoverability: endpoint paths aren't clearly documented, spread across various prefixes with the OpenAPI spec behind a login, so we spent time searching for the right cost/usage endpoints. Some data, like org-level savings summaries, is only in the UI, not the API. Generating the API key required an RSA signature-verification step, more complex than expected. But it wasn't a blocker—once we found the correct endpoints, everything worked and reconciled seamlessly. Better API docs and API-UI parity would speed up integrations. nOps addresses cost visibility and allocation across our multi-account, EKS-heavy setup. Before, most of our spend was unallocated because native tags missed a lot, so we couldn't determine which app or team drove changes. Now we have cost breakdowns down to namespace, application, and container, plus an Excess Capacity metric that reveals reclaimable EKS resources. It also manages our Savings Plans and RIs, so we no longer guess on commitment coverage.

Director of DevOps
"Adaptable AWS RI and Savings Plan Management for Evolving Usage"
We rely on nOps to oversee our AWS Reserved Instances and Savings Plans, and it flexibly adjusts as our AWS usage shifts. Unlike self-managed RIs or SPs, we're not tied into 1-to-3-year commitments. The AI features show promise, though they'll become even more valuable as they develop. Integrations with Claude and ChatGPT are also promising. We routinely refresh our EC2 instances to ensure we're using the most cost-efficient types for our workloads. Being able to do this without impacting our RI and SP coverage reassures us that our savings stay intact.
