"Very efficient and perfect for event planners."
The company provides precise 2D versions of your spaces and furniture. It's quite user-friendly. You can keep your room designs as simple or as detailed as you like. The toolbars are straightforward. You can save your own templates for common setups. The 'grow' feature for tables (duplicating items) doesn't always work right – it either adds too many tables or chairs, or they end up overlapping. There's no stamp tool for numbering tables. I'd definitely recommend getting the latest version of MeetingMatrix – they're making event planning easier. I couldn't do my job without it. Without it, I'd be sketching tiny tables and chairs by hand all day. I love the printouts for customers, and being able to save as a .jpeg makes sending them electronically simple.

"Good for simple needs"
It's very straightforward and easy for first-time users. I'd like more features without a price hike. We create diagrams for hotels for meetings and conferences to attach to event orders, so they can set up rooms without us being present.

"Does what it needs to"
I really like the pre-built venue floor plans – they make setting up rooms across different sites effortless. However, it freezes a lot and occasionally throws error messages. It helps ensure our audience and equipment fit well in the meeting spaces.

"Outdated and cumbersome"
The designs are straightforward, without many additional features. Sometimes it crashes for no apparent reason. Saving room layouts and setups in two different places is confusing, and moving items around once placed isn't easy. It's used for sending setup requests to hotels. At least we don't have to rely on Microsoft Word or Adobe anymore.

"Minimalist Tool"
It's simple enough that everyone in our office can use it without any training. There aren't any built-in extras like attendee check-in or table assignments because we have other software for those. It's pricey and reaching support is difficult. Also, every computer needs a separate license – it would be great if it were web-based with just a login instead of being desktop-bound. It's useful for generating room setup instructions for hotels.

"Perfect for Event Planning!"
I really like that you can store all your ballrooms and create accurate layouts. The downside is that making each diagram takes a lot of time. It helps eliminate guesswork when designing an event.

"Event Setup Tool"
Since I already knew how to use it, I found it straightforward. I could pull up old floor plans from years ago. But it was glitchy and not very intuitive. There wasn't much flexibility for creative or different arrangements. It was mainly useful for giving setup staff room diagrams when they couldn't easily interpret event orders.

"Decent but needs work"
I appreciate being able to show clients an actual visual and explanation of their meeting arrangement. However, this program is not the most intuitive. You really need to spend time navigating it to produce diagrams efficiently. Adding more user-friendly buttons would help newcomers. I've been able to figure out how many attendees can fit in a conference room. Being able to experiment with various setups has helped impress clients.

"Great for Floor Plans"
I enjoy making layouts for clients so they can execute a perfect event. This software isn't the easiest to navigate. Getting new staff trained requires a lot of time. The icons could be more intuitive and label more clearly. I'd suggest this tool for anyone who needs to create diagrams. Just make sure you invest in thorough training for your team. We've addressed the challenge of showing clients exactly what their event will look like. The advantage is that it fosters clear communication between us and our customers.

"Useful Back Then"
There's a wide variety of elements you can drop onto a layout. I really appreciated how accurate and scaled everything was for each venue. Being able to upload and sketch my own room dimensions instead of hiring the company to do it gave me a sense of independence. I found that I had more say over my workspace compared to other platforms. However, it seemed like MeetingMatrix wasn't keeping pace with newer features that rivals had. I was hoping for a solution that operated smoothly in a browser rather than needing software installed locally. It's certainly worth checking out to see if it fits your needs. I've since moved on and don't use it anymore.
