"A wonderful product"
The customer support is outstanding. They respond quickly when we have a crisis, like needing to delete an email from all inboxes immediately. I also value their willingness to listen to feedback and implement updates based on it. There's nothing I dislike about this product. I feel much safer and more secure for my network and users because of Managed Methods.

"Excellent tool for monitoring emails and documents in Google"
Managed Methods simplifies monitoring email and document activity. It can spot suspicious logins and flag logins from blacklisted countries, then suspend the account if needed. It also monitors keywords you define through custom risk settings. Every time a policy is triggered, an email alert is sent, which can be scheduled to your preference. Their support team is fast and helpful. The policies are not fully customizable though—you can't specify exact emails for certain policies. But overall, it's a great product, and the minor drawbacks are far outweighed by the benefits. It works exceptionally well and helps you track suspicious logins and monitor emails/documents in G Suite or Microsoft 365. I highly recommend it! You can view emails and documents, track keywords, and this has helped us find instances of misuse of company resources. It also detected several blacklisted country logins that we resolved. It makes it easy to monitor for suspicious logins and inappropriate use of company applications.

"Initial thoughts on Managed Methods"
The interface is very user-friendly. Other products we looked at were hard to navigate. Since we're just starting with this, we haven't found anything to dislike yet. I'm sure we'll encounter some as we go deeper. Managed Methods clearly understands the K-12 environment, from features to pricing. Our main goal is to monitor Google and Office 365, worrying about where our data is stored. These tools are excellent for users but can be a security nightmare without proper monitoring.

"Powerful and user-friendly"
Having the ability to inspect student drives is fantastic. Policy violations often go unnoticed. Managed Methods lets me delve into drives, emails, and documents to see details about offending content. I love that I can delete an email from everyone's mailbox instantly. Also, I can see all apps connected to logins for our domain and revoke access as needed. I have no complaints at all. The features are everything I wanted around my domain.

"A review from a school district perspective"
Managed Methods offers many useful features for running a school district. The G Suite email filter is what we used most and enjoyed the most. It allowed us to search for policy violations and detect signs of bullying and depression to keep students safer. The only downside is the price. It's reasonable, but on a tight budget for a small district, it's hard to justify. For those considering it: if you need a comprehensive cloud filtering and management solution, this is an excellent choice. We primarily use it to tackle cyberbullying, prevent school violence, address depression/suicide concerns, and guard against malware. Additionally, we scan for grooming and other violations.

"Great product at a fair price"
It equips me with the investigative tools our stakeholders need to maintain a secure digital learning environment for students. The user interface can be confusing for those who aren't technical. But the product is strong and functional. Plus, they listen to customer input and are open to making changes. We combine Managed Methods with other monitoring software to oversee our district's cloud environment. Its audit trail for document activity has been particularly useful in handling bullying and student safety issues. It gives us the who, what, where, and when of cloud activity.

"Managed Methods is simply the best"
We've been using the platform for over a year with no negative findings. We customized it to fit our district's needs, and it gives us peace of mind with extra control over our Google users, especially student accounts. We get alerts for suspicious activity, policy breaches, and ransomware in emails—these are critical and we take them seriously. We have zero dislikes or complaints. The login map is particularly helpful, showing where users in our domain are signing in. Reports are something we rely on monthly to share with our admin team. We migrated to Google in September on a directive from our superintendent after school started. Since we came from Exchange, we felt we needed a platform to help manage accounts, and we're glad we found Managed Methods. It provides that extra sigh of relief.

"Comprehensive CASB with all the features you need"
I'm impressed with every aspect of their product, and it outperforms Cloudlock and Aperture. The discovery feature is my favorite. It makes responding to information requests a breeze and generates excellent reports. Searching for things like violent images works well and flags them promptly. It also alerts us to other content like profanity. The prebuilt rules and quarantine options are ideal for starting out, and then you can fine-tune them. The engineering team truly understands K-12 environments and best practices. I can't think of any drawbacks. Everything functions smoothly, and reporting is top-notch. I'm at a loss for suggestions—maybe free pricing? But I know free tools like Bark aren't prevention tools. We want to quarantine data that's attempting to leave our network. Great product overall. Try others, but you'll likely end up with Managed Methods. The discovery feature proved invaluable during our POC when we had a request for information. We could search across all emails, messages, images, and documents for specific terms and find what the requester needed.

"Excellent CASB solution at a reasonable price"
I appreciate how simple it is to set up, and it automatically locks accounts when a user tries to log in from outside the country. This immediately flags potential compromises. Alerts could be more detailed, though. I've been working with Managed Methods to improve that, so I hope that'll be resolved soon. If you're considering a CASB for Google or Office 365, I highly recommend this. The team is easy to collaborate with and quick to add features we need. We've had issues with staff storing PII online and even sharing it externally. Managed Methods helped us see these problems and fix them.

"Our journey with this product began as their first educational client, and we're still using it years later!"
There's a lot we don't realize about our environment until we start setting policies. Once we implement some rules, we begin to uncover things we were unaware of and can take action. I appreciate that the team is open to feedback and implements changes frequently. Many of the updates come directly from user suggestions. I don't have complaints as long as they keep adapting; if they stopped, that would be a problem. I'd like to see more straightforward reporting for filtering apps by Student or Staff OU. Also, it would be helpful to filter by install base, like 10 users versus 100 users, and separate staff from students. Additionally, email alerts could be more targeted to the issue found. These improvements will come as the product matures. Before choosing Managed Methods, we evaluated CloudLock and SysCloud. The benefits are numerous! It gives us visibility into content that is entirely outside our control, including applications and data.
