Kion's ability to apply inherited rules similar to AWS SCPs from a central place across all clouds is invaluable. Having a single pane of glass for GCP, AWS, and Azure is fantastic, and Kion executes it well. There is a steep learning curve; it takes time to grasp the product's nuances, and just when you think you've mastered it, new features come out that require learning (though that's not negative). Kion has enabled me to manage federation, compliance scanning, budgeting, and forecasting for all cloud providers, allowing us to consolidate what would normally require four separate tools into one platform.

I use Kion daily and appreciate how easy it makes managing multiple accounts. The CloudRules and RBAC Roles let us limit access when needed and add important CloudFormation templates to AWS environments. I also value the seamless integration with Active Directory, using AD security groups to control access. One downside is that navigating the Organization tab can be cumbersome; finding an account or OU isn't always straightforward, even with the search bar, since there may be extra OU layers. Our main need is controlling access for customers to their environments while giving engineers different levels of access based on roles. Kion does this seamlessly and even allows custom roles for flexibility.

It's simple to implement and manage. I like that you can quickly open AWS accounts and manually select roles, and it's also helpful for finding accounts and credentials via command.
