"A breeze, with a lovely team of techies."
The onboarding and sales process was flawless, and a year later, we still appreciate the support from our account manager and the technical teams. Integrations have been a major advantage, and using the new native integrations manager has been simple and time-saving. I don't have any negative feedback; with event apps, you're buying into a somewhat generic ecosystem where most providers offer similar services, but the friendly team, competitive pricing, and holistic approach led us to choose Grip. Networking and navigation are strong features.

"Exceptional software design with intuitive user experience"
The software design is excellent—very easy to understand and set up basic event information, user-friendly for participants, and continuously improved by the Grip team. However, not all features are customizable (e.g., automated emails, generic wording), and there's no option for targeted email campaigns; only filters by data type and status. The platform provides a valuable networking experience, allowing visitors and exhibitors to pre-schedule meetings during our events. The composites industry is complex, and Grip enables exhibitors to showcase their products, making it easier for visitors to find suitable contacts to meet onsite.

"Overall a very positive experience with Grip and the team!"
The team is extremely friendly and helpful during setup, and they're open to feedback on improving the platform to suit our event types. The platform is easy to use after the first time, and they provide quick ongoing support during event setup. There are some design and element limitations that require time to work around, but they're not demobilizing—we just occasionally need to get creative to meet our needs. We primarily use Grip for 1-1 meeting matchmaking and agenda selections. It offers an unmatched service that allows attendees to choose who they want to meet, and it's an easy platform for us to adjust meeting matches if needed.

"A manageable and flexible platform for a live event app."
Grip Events is a well-organized, highly user-friendly software that has adapted well to what my company wants for the event app. The customer service, especially from Joana Lima and Viktoria Stoker, has been extremely helpful and greatly contributed to our ease of use. I find the agenda/private sessions the most challenging because adding various elements like sponsors, speakers, and private session attendees is time-consuming. Also, lead retrieval and the team portal could be improved for users and app managers to collect all sponsor leads. We use Grip as the sole supplier for our event app and run 6-7 events annually.

"Strong hosted buyer meeting scheduling, user-friendly, and comprehensive event solution"
We organize hosted buyer events and rely on Grip's meeting scheduling as the foundation of every event. Our delegates are very pleased with the user-friendly interface and the quality of meetings arranged through Grip. As organizers, we can efficiently schedule thousands of highly personalized one-on-one meetings. The scheduling functionalities are crucial to us and have been refined over years, resulting in high client satisfaction. We can also offer a tailored experience to different types of attendees. Additionally, Grip allows our event brands to shine through excellent UX personalization options. Like any external provider, not all features perfectly match our needs, but their support team offers good alternatives, and the product is designed for easy integration with other platforms. Reporting and analytics could be simpler to access, but this area is improving rapidly. Grip helps us organize pre-scheduled meetings for hundreds of delegates, ensuring each meeting has the best potential business outcome. It also enables us to deliver highly customized communications based on attendee preferences and attendance.

"Outstanding event app for both organizers and attendees!"
Firstly, Grip Events consistently receives high praise from sponsors and attendees during events because it's easy to use, has strong networking features, and helps manage event days efficiently. It simplifies my role as an organizer and enhances the experience we aim to provide. The backend offers plenty of flexibility, which I appreciate. However, what I value most is the team. I've been with them for over five years, and they're always willing to help and genuinely invested in our success. They continuously seek improvement, and the frequent, practical product updates show they listen to our feedback. Recently, I integrated the app with HubSpot, and I was impressed by how straightforward it was. This has significantly improved our customer experience, ensuring attendees get access within 15 minutes of signing up. There's nothing negative to say—the team and product are excellent. For future developments, I'd like to see Teams become an app-based feature rather than just desktop, as it occasionally causes friction with clients. It would also be helpful if the Teams function was more intuitive when sponsors first log in. Additionally, I'd love attendees to share sessions or invite others to their sessions through the app. Finally, networking is the core strength of this app, but some broader event features like Q&A could use more development. Grip provides an app where attendees can view the attendee list and book meetings, boosting networking opportunities. It serves as a pocket guide for the day, helping plan schedules. Instead of separate lead scanners, we use the app for all badge scanning, which is a great user experience for sponsors—one device, one app for networking and lead generation. The new session scanning feature also has potential, offering sponsors all data in one portal for immediate real-time download.

"BIF Market Online Coordinator"
The backoffice is quite intuitive and easy to navigate, making it simple to organize and customize. The initial year may require more effort to set up and learn all the features, but once that's done, you can simply clone everything for subsequent years. Customer support is excellent—very helpful and understanding with any issues or questions. As a user, browsing the platform has some drawbacks: there's no back button; you have to click 'home' or the tab again to return, and it scrolls to the top; you can't open profiles in new tabs, and right-clicking isn't supported. For the BIF Market specifically, it would be beneficial to request meetings with projects and connect with all people linked to them, rather than only individual contacts. The main goal is to have an online component for the event.

"Excellent platform for business matchmaking!"
It's straightforward to use, simple to configure, and the support team is fantastic, offering all the features attendees need. However, the integration between internal systems and the app could be smoother. Grip is a robust platform designed to connect exhibitors and visitors seamlessly. Its standout feature is AI-driven matchmaking, which provides significant value to both sides by facilitating meaningful connections. From a marketing standpoint, this innovative capability is a strong selling point.

"Fantastic choice for event platforms!"
The account management has been superb—we've worked with several managers over the years and each one has been excellent. They consistently go above and beyond, respond quickly, and are patient when I'm slow to understand things. Nothing is too much trouble for them. The updated platform is also very user-friendly, and the new clone event feature is a game-changer! It makes duplicating events across different locations much simpler and saves a lot of time. We're also lucky that it integrates well with other platforms we use. There are a few minor clunky aspects occasionally, but nothing that significantly hampers the user experience. It's not really an issue, but as event organizers, we've come to expect matchmaking and networking features, and Grip delivers on that.

"Top-notch tech for events and lead generation"
Setting up and using this platform is straightforward and intuitive. The training resources are outstanding, and the support team is incredibly responsive. Clients can easily capture leads and gain insights from event interactions. It also handles multiple programs simultaneously, allows lead scanning, and integrates with other tools—making it a valuable asset for event organizers aiming to boost client value and encourage repeat business while providing attendees with an excellent event guide and overall experience. There are so many capabilities that finding time to use them all is a challenge! It offers a comprehensive event guide for visitors when multiple events share an exhibition area on the same day, and enhanced features benefit sponsors by generating leads and increasing brand visibility. The matchmaking system is superb at connecting sponsors with attendees and attendees with each other, enriching the event experience.
