FortiSASE is the best security feature my company has used to enhance security. It not only provides security but also offers a great user experience. However, it's a bit pricey, and it works best when paired with other Fortinet products, which are also expensive. Security is a major concern for all IT professionals. With FortiSASE, I can confidently assure my clients and end users that we are secure.

It provides centralized control via FortiManager, simplifying security policy creation and SDWAN deployment. The SDWAN connector is a cool feature, turning FortiSASE into an SDWAN surface using ADVPN. Remote users can directly access anywhere on the SDWAN network without going through the data center, which is unique. So far, I see no downsides; it meets our needs. Definitely worth considering. It helps monitor network status, provide reports and analytics, monitor user activity, and ensure user-end security.

Ease of onboarding end users to protect their data. I have no dislikes for this product as it helps safeguard data in cloud computing. It secures end users not sitting in our company network. Remote user compliance checks are straightforward. It provides data security for the company.

FortiSASE offers a complete suite of tools to manage users' security posture. The user experience is excellent, allowing management of all services from one console. I've used FortiGate NGFW and find it excels at network security for the organization. However, those without network admin experience may find initial configuration complex. Also, regular maintenance is needed to keep up with latest threats. FortiSASE is versatile, providing real-time threat protection against cyber threats. Key use cases: 1. Integration with AWS and Azure cloud platforms is seamless. The pricing could be more affordable for small businesses. It's the best and simplest way to securely manage our interactions with the hybrid cloud.

But the benefit is consistent protection and compliance, reducing risks of data breaches and shadow IT.

However, setup isn't straightforward for beginners, and some features take time to learn, especially if you're not familiar with FortiClient or EMS. It's not budget-friendly; smaller teams might find it costly. Customization is limited compared to full FortiOS setups. The main benefit is simplifying network security and access control, combining firewall, SWG, ZTNA, and threat protection into one platform.

This tool shows great promise with its extensive capabilities and intuitive interface, making deployment straightforward. However, it still faces many hurdles that need addressing. The lack of integration with other systems is a notable drawback. There are multiple issues that remain unresolved. Additionally, customer support has room to grow. During implementation, we hit various snags, and getting assistance has been tough. It feels like an early-stage solution that isn't fully polished, though it does work to a degree. FortiSASE does cover some of our DLP requirements and offers URL filtering. This has been a plus because it lets us track web activity for remote employees even outside the office. Before this, we lacked that visibility for years.
