The key advantage is having all the Salesforce automation and marketing tools behind it, enabling us to automate responses and reminders and incentivize specific participant segments. Salesforce opportunity management also helps us handle large sponsorship deals. It's hard to know which Salesforce add-ons work well with this. Great software—consider using guest checkouts to reduce license costs. Combining online ticket sales with offline sponsorships and invoicing in one place allows us to track ROI in real-time.

It's straightforward to use and saves time when establishing memberships and associations.

This events application is built directly on Salesforce. The range of features, appearance, and user experience are significantly better than our previous solutions. Additionally, it has its own eCommerce functionality that integrates with the rest of the Fonteva suite. There are regular scheduled updates. I also appreciate that the company is expanding rapidly. However, some promised features are not yet available. Certain SEO elements are missing. There are many limitations, and several advertised functions are absent. Email and social media integration are completely lacking. The product we originally liked was discontinued and replaced with an inferior one. We require a better user experience for our association members to locate and register for events, the ability to make real-time changes, and support for various event types.

It takes some time to learn how to troubleshoot registration errors or event configuration, but once you do, it's manageable. Fonteva Events gives us the ability to offer our members a strong, personalized event registration platform while also promoting our brand with contemporary event marketing pages.

Being native to Salesforce, data mapping is quite smooth. The interface works adequately on both the admin and user sides. It's intricate and not always straightforward, and there's no phone assistance. The email system is very complicated and requires coding knowledge to operate. There's no automated waitlist feature. Conditional pricing only allows one condition per price rule. Users cannot cancel individual sessions, only entire tickets. There are also ticketing problems: the mechanism that syncs information back to the contact record is linked to contact restrictions, meaning one ticket per attendee only. So if someone needs multiple workshop tickets, they can't purchase more than one registration and have the details push back to their record. Refunds and cancellations aren't automated. It's beneficial to track customers/members and their purchases/registrations in a single place, and it stores their submitted information, which can assist them when completing future forms.

This lets us provide member-exclusive pricing, boosting the perceived value of our memberships. Our team can also monitor attendees, and guest attendees often convert into membership leads. It's been an excellent tool for creating websites that display venue details, agendas, session sign-ups, and more. I wish there were more customization options beyond what's currently available. We've integrated it with our Membership Management system, enhancing member value by offering advantages through membership-only pricing, and we can easily build event websites as well!
