It's incredibly simple to use and offers many options in the free version. The paid features are excellent for formal events and collecting sales/marketing leads. I appreciate the simple update options—easy to modify the event description, add or remove guests, view their RSVP status, and invite via email or text. Sometimes the notifications are bothersome. After each update, a bunch of 'offers'—really ads—pop up and hinder my progress. I'd prefer to skip those. Setting up an event page is easy, so guests can be invited, RSVP, and cancel their own RSVP. You can also choose whether guests can see others' RSVP status.

This platform is extremely easy to navigate and accessible for everyone. The optional add-ons are excellent, including maps and an Amazon Wish List. Since many people are familiar with it, they're happy to open links you send. Some popups are annoying. After responding to an event, you're often shown '3 free months of satellite radio' and similar offers, and you have to scroll past them to get back to the invite. That's more of a nuisance because you're not there to shop, but to organize or respond to an event. Evite helps us arrange our events and reach the right audience. It simplifies tracking responses and lets us message all those who replied 'yes' if anything changes. The polling feature is also great.

The greatest advantage of Evite is that it delivers directly to your phone and then sends follow-up reminders about the event, especially if you haven't replied yet. The only change I'd make is that it comes from an unknown number, which can be easily ignored. It would be great if there were a way to create an 'Evite' contact. Though I'm not sure if that's feasible. Naturally, sending traditional cards is costly, time-consuming, and slow. With Evite, you can send out numerous invitations at once, reaching your audience quickly.

As a non-profit, for certain events we utilize OneCause, a fundraising-specific platform that handles events, registrations, auctions, ticketing, and donations. However, for simpler events that just need a basic invite and an attendee list, Evite is perfect.
