Eventboost

We've relied on Eventboost for several years, but when the pandemic hit, we had to overhaul everything. The team assisted us in figuring out the who, what, and how for our upcoming conference. Their communication was incredibly helpful, and we couldn't have pivoted without their diligent efforts. The only area for improvement is communication when transitioning to the app environment, mainly regarding who to contact for real-time issues. However, once we mentioned this, they immediately provided a solution. The ease of use suits me well; I'm not very technical, but they handled everything and easily trained me to work independently. The stress-free package is worth every penny. We were able to integrate all remote sessions into the app, something we hadn't initially planned since we expected an in-person event.

The platform is quite intuitive, making it easy to use. When I run into problems, they are always ready to explain how to fix them. I haven't found much that I dislike. It significantly simplifies the registration process, especially when we connect it seamlessly to the virtual platform.

Eventboost consistently goes the extra mile to customize their product to our requirements. When their capabilities fell short, they proactively built out the platform to meet our needs or proposed alternative solutions. I have yet to find any downside to using them; they've been an excellent partner for multiple events. If you need a vendor that will work hard to provide and customize everything for your event, they're the ones. They're also very hands-on and helpful on-site. They successfully implemented our request to log in with a unique ID and password that we provided, and they customized the registration page for each employee after login. This has greatly streamlined our registration process and made it effortless for our staff.

Customer service was exceptional; whenever I needed help, they provided quick solutions and guidance from the initial call through event completion. I cannot praise the support team and our Business Developer, Federico, enough. The site was easy for end users to navigate, with attendees finding materials without difficulty, and the layout was clean. From an admin perspective, it was fairly intuitive, and any questions were quickly answered by support. However, the registration page was somewhat limited, requiring assistance from the Eventboost team for changes. Given our conference's nature, we need to gather extensive information, but we lacked that capability. Nonetheless, the team was always willing to modify and fix things. It's just preferable to have the ability to make these changes independently, which they are working on for future events. Since we normally host this conference in person and are not tech-savvy, transitioning to a fully virtual event was challenging, but Eventboost guided us through every step, offering suggestions for sponsorships, video streaming, on-demand content, and more.

The app gives us the freedom to create and personalize it as we see fit. We can test it in real time, seeing exactly what users see, allowing for updates without disrupting them. We can thoroughly test from start to finish, though we did encounter some issues like bugs and login problems. I particularly appreciated the quick responsiveness of Anne Helene and the support team.

Eventboost was our chosen platform for an annual conference with over 500 customers, and it delivered a smooth, engaging, and professional experience for both planners and attendees. Everything functioned perfectly without any technical glitches or logistical issues, and the event went off without a hitch. We received overwhelmingly positive feedback from participants and are extremely satisfied. The Eventboost team was incredibly responsive, addressing every query from conception to completion. The only minor suggestion would be expanding chat options to include small group interactions (e.g., 3-4 people), but overall, we're delighted. This platform is ideal for virtual conferences, summits, or roundtables, and the support team is exceptionally helpful. Successfully bringing a large, global audience together on one platform with minimal attendee questions is a massive win. Running contests and interactive chats during the event was also a nice touch. Our 21st annual conference, our first virtual one, was amazing thanks to Eventboost.

The team is composed of calm, multilingual individuals who respond quickly and are eager to help with any issues, proactively thinking through solutions when problems arise. While Eventboost is Italy-based and some staff may have limited English proficiency, other team members are available to translate, so the language barrier is minimal. For an online event I organized, they assisted with the registration form and plenary sessions.

The Eventboost system is not only user-friendly but also continuously improves based on client feedback. The standout aspect is their exceptional customer service; we receive prompt, relevant assistance, and our Business Development Manager, Federico, is outstanding—he attentively addresses our needs and provides solutions. We've recommended Eventboost to other departments, all of whom have used it successfully for event registration. We will continue using it for our annual conference and mini-conference. There are no real drawbacks; initial setup requires time, but having strong implementation partners like Eventboost is crucial to ensure they understand your requirements and configure the product optimally. The key uses include managing registrations, email communication, on-site check-in, and badge printing.

Event Boost is user-friendly and allows for quick modifications without restrictions on the number of back-end users. Reporting capabilities are straightforward and valuable, and the ability to schedule emails is convenient. Their support team is excellent, and the newly designed event websites look promising—we plan to use them soon. It would be helpful to have multi-layered filtering for registration data and a live chat option for instant support. Launching events is simple, and the tool offers robust registration details, good reporting, and seamless integration with on-site badge printing, saving both time and resources.

The platform is straightforward to navigate and packed with functionality. The only area for improvement could be catering to a global audience by adding support for languages such as Arabic and Mandarin, making it a truly all-in-one tool.
