You can save a floorplan as a template for future events, which was very useful for a hotel with small meetings and weddings. However, for simple diagrams, it's often easier to copy and paste in other programs. Sharing with 'social' clients can be tricky—they may not understand the tool or make changes without telling you. Although to scale, it sometimes ignores service space or unique room features. Also, even with the exact number of chairs, it's hard to see how many are at each table without counting. The main problem it solved was ensuring every furniture piece fits within the space by customizing sizes, making the floorplan as accurate as possible.
