It's been great for setting up our SOC2 policies and performing gap analyses. The cost is on the higher side, though I haven't compared it with other vendors. It's been useful for creating compliant policies and helping with evidence and gap analysis.

The platform is thorough, and the fractional CISOs are excellent at guiding us through the many compliance steps. It could benefit from more integrations, or even a generic webhook option. Documenting evidence for each task or policy can be somewhat tedious. Once everything is logged, searching through it isn't straightforward. A good integration with SharePoint or Google Drive would make evidence management easier. They're helpful for achieving ISO27001 certification.

They could add more connectors, but they're actively working on that. In the financial industry, security and compliance are essential. At first, I thought Carbide would be the main repository for all our compliance documents, expecting to store items like contracts and detailed compliance information. However, I discovered it mainly serves as an evidence vault, giving a snapshot at a particular moment. I'd have liked to use it as a full document management solution. Our company is pursuing SOC2 certification to show both existing and potential clients that we prioritize data privacy and adhere to industry best practices. We hope that obtaining this certification will become a strong asset for our business.
