We used it for monthly user audits, specifically access control reviews in Active Directory. This included tracking user lockouts, password expiration, and password change statistics. We used it to ensure that users no longer with the organization are disabled and then, unless special circumstances, deleted after 30 days. It also helped pull group memberships and statistics, greatly assisting with maintaining compliance with our access control policy.

My company places high importance on HIPAA compliance. The privacy of our consumers must be protected; if information were to leak, privacy would be compromised. The vulnerability scanner is quite useful. It assesses your compliance. Their YouTube channel is great for learning, especially their video on Automated Vulnerability Remediation with Symantec IT Management Suite and Control Compliance Suite. However, this program is complex to learn and not very straightforward. If you're new to it, you have to focus and learn all the jargon. There's a lot of pressure dealing with this program; I'm always worried about making mistakes. The data loss protection is very helpful, and the security scanning for risks is excellent.

This is excellent software that can block harmful programs or software that might be installed from third-party sites. It gives me confidence that my computer is safer with it installed. I've had no problems since switching to this security system, and I can hardly find any flaws. There's a clear quality difference compared to other systems I've used before. Policy lifecycle management and policy validation tracking are fully integrated. A downside is that the interface requires patience as navigation takes some getting used to. Base support isn't included; basic and critical support options are available for purchase. I definitely recommend Symantec CCS for GRC solutions. We used CCS to implement risk management and IT threat management for a third-party client.
