Setting up a show is very straightforward, and there are plenty of choices. I really like the various ticketing header options and the ability to create both general admission and reserved seating events. It's easy to modify almost anything, even after the show is on sale. The customer support might be my top favorite – our client manager is wonderful and usually responds within a day, or even faster if it's urgent. Their after-hours help is also knowledgeable and supportive. One thing I wish for is the ability to completely remove old events, coupon codes, and price structures, but you can only archive them. I'd definitely recommend requesting a demo – their sales and client services teams are fantastic to work with and have taught us a lot. They also have good connections for acquiring new ticket office equipment like BOCAs and encryption swipers. Since switching to ShoWare, our online ticket sales have really increased. It's much more user-friendly, especially for our older patrons. We're now seeing over 65% of sales online, which has cut down on phone time for our staff who used to constantly assist guests with the old system.

It doesn't have all the power of a Tesatura, but for what you pay, it's excellent. The billing feature is our favorite, especially when dealing with many groups. There are some gaps in reporting, the donor tracking isn't very strong, and it lacks easy integration with email services and gift card support. We were in a bind when Vendini left us high and dry during the shutdowns, and we had no intention of staying with them after that. ShoWare came through for us, was simple to set up and start using, and is straightforward to navigate.
