Revival of In-Person Classes at RISD
Spring 2025 marks the return of in-person adult classes at RISD, including drawing, painting, animation, and bookbinding. This revival offers a unique opportunity for individuals to engage in hands-on learning experiences on the vibrant campus of Rhode Island School of Design.

Course Schedule and Registration Information
The Spring 2025 class schedule consists of 6-week sessions, with one meeting per week on weeknights. Participants can choose from Session 1 (March 3–April 10) or Session 2 (April 21–May 29). Registration for these courses closes two business days before the start of each class, providing ample time for interested individuals to secure their spot in the courses.
Location and Accessibility
Adult in-person courses are conducted on RISD's main campus in Providence, Rhode Island, offering students the opportunity to immerse themselves in a creative environment surrounded by resources like the RISD Museum and Nature Lab. It is important to note that some classrooms may only be accessible by stairs. For individuals requiring accessibility accommodations, RISD Disability Support Services can be contacted to make necessary arrangements ahead of the course start date.
Classroom Experience and Instruction
Each course provides a comprehensive learning experience, with classes meeting once a week and led by experienced instructors and teaching assistants.
