Tele-Operational Unmanned Ground Vehicle (UGV) Command and Control

In the realm of remote control Unmanned Ground Vehicle (UGV) applications, Kratos OpenSpace provides an innovative Tele-Op option that enables remote operators to control single vehicles through transmitted video links to vehicle-mounted cameras. This advanced system includes a Bench Top Command and Control (C2) System, equipped with steering wheel, brake and throttle pedals, gear shift controllers, data link transceivers, and a laptop computer. For enhanced portability, Kratos also offers a Man-Portable C2 System, featuring a ruggedized tablet-style computer connected to a portable data link transceiver. These C2 systems, derived from Kratos' UAV C2 Systems, are not only fully expandable but also platform-independent, data link transceiver-independent (supporting various industry standard communication links like SINCGARS and NSA compliant encrypted message formats), and customizable to meet specific requirements.

The Unmanned Ground Vehicle Command and Control (C2) Bench Top System by Kratos is specifically designed to control or monitor unmanned ground vehicles in both tele-operational and autonomous modes. This cutting-edge system provides operators with a sophisticated interface that includes essential control elements such as steering mechanisms, pedals for acceleration and braking, gear shift controllers, and state-of-the-art data link transceivers. With the Bench Top System, users can efficiently oversee and manage UGV operations with precision and accuracy, ensuring seamless command and control functionalities.

Portable Command & Control System

Kratos' Man-Portable Command and Control (C2) System is a portable and flexible solution for controlling and monitoring unmanned ground vehicles in tele-operational or autonomous modes. Similar in functionality to the Bench Top System, the Man-Portable C2 system offers the same level of sophistication and control in a more compact and mobile form factor. With a ruggedized tablet-style computer connected to a portable data link transceiver, operators can easily take command of UGV operations in diverse environments, providing exceptional flexibility and ease of use.
