Overview of HON 630-FE

The Honeywell Enraf Tank Gauging Series 600 Pilot Regulator HON 630-FE is a pneumatic pilot with electric remote setpoint adjustment designed for gas pressure regulators HON 402, HON 502, and HON 503 according to DIN EN 334. This regulator is utilized for outlet pressure control, providing a reliable solution for maintaining precise pressure levels in gas systems.

Features and Benefits

The HON 630-FE offers a range of features and benefits that enhance gas pressure control efficiency. It features a pilot with electric setpoint adjustment, allowing for easy adjustments of the setpoint from a control room or similar location. Additionally, manual setpoint adjustment on the electric actuator is possible, providing flexibility in operation. The regulator can also be equipped with an optional vent valve HON 915 for added control capabilities. The device is suitable for use with non-aggressive gases, with the option for other gases on request. It is CE registered according to PED in combination with HON Gas Pressure Regulators, ensuring compliance with European standards. With a maximum admissible pressure of 100 bar, a max inlet pressure of up to 100 bar, and an outlet pressure range of 0.3 to 90 bar, the HON 630-FE offers versatility in pressure control applications.

Technical Specifications

The electric actuator of the HON 630-FE features a drive shaft according to DIN/ISO 5210 T1 F10 and is fitted to the control stage, providing a robust and efficient control mechanism. Motor and electrical connections details can be obtained upon inquiry, allowing for customization to specific system requirements. All mechanical components of the regulator are designed without potential ignition sources or hot faces, ensuring safety in operation. While they are not subject to ATEX 95 (94/9/EC) regulations, the electronic accessories meet ATEX requirements, further enhancing the safety features of the device.
