Hexcel's MAGRAM UD Series offers a highly flexible and environmentally resilient solution for RF interference control. With operating temperatures ranging from -60°F to 275°F (-50°C to 190°C), MAGRAM UD combines the superior energy absorption properties of high-performance magnetic materials with the desirable physical properties of urethane.

Product Overview and Features

MAGRAM UD is designed to be mechanically stable and resistant to extreme environments and temperatures. It boasts good tensile strength, elongation, tear strength, and compression set, which are far superior to conventional rubbers. Additionally, this product is halogen-free, RoHS, and REACH compliant. MAGRAM UD can attenuate frequencies from 500 MHz to 40 GHz, making it effective in various RF interference control applications.

Effectiveness of MAGRAM UD Series

The urethane binder used in MAGRAM UD excels in high abrasion environments due to its tear strength and UL 94-HB rating. By combining this binder with various fillers, MAGRAM UD becomes highly effective for absorption. It is particularly useful for applications where the material properties of urethane can address environmental challenges.
