Cluster 9, part of the expanding constellation that includes 31 satellites, is strategically positioned in a mid-inclination orbit to offer extended coverage over high-demand regions. While inheriting the baseline capabilities of prior clusters, Cluster 9 is equipped with upgraded payloads set to be progressively activated in 2025. These advancements will enable improved data collection, wider bandwidth, and multi-band signal capture, empowering HawkEye 360 to detect, characterize, and geolocate RF signals crucial for communications, navigation, and security purposes.

Cluster 10 Nears Full Operational Capacity to Boost Global Situational Awareness

In parallel with Cluster 9's success, HawkEye 360 is making strides with Cluster 10, which has attained Initial Operational Capability (IOC) and is on track to achieve Full Operational Capability (FOC) by early November. Scheduled for full operation alongside the Cluster 9 satellites, Cluster 10 is expected to enhance revisit frequency over strategically vital areas, augmenting the volume and depth of data collection.
