Robotic Laser Solutions
Fanuc Robotics offers a powerful solution for enhancing the efficiency of laser systems through the integration of robots with 3rd party laser sources and processing heads. By leveraging Fanuc Laser Robots with 6 axes of freedom, precision and flexibility in applications like laser cutting and welding are significantly improved. These robots can touch multiple points at various angles with exceptional precision, accuracy, and rigidity, catering to a wide range of payloads, reaches, and speeds.
Robot Laser Interface Function
Fanuc's innovative Laser interface function combines cutting-edge software user interface with high-speed control hardware to optimize laser output based on robot positioning. With integrated functions for 32kHz pulse control and robot speed-based ramping, the system can efficiently modulate power output through pulse modulation or constant wave, ensuring excellent processing performance and quality for cutting and welding applications.
Handling Laser Cut Parts, Made Easy
Integrating Fanuc handling robots into laser cutting systems is seamless due to the common control platform shared by all Fanuc CNC systems and robots. This integration allows for quick and easy machine/robot connectivity through a standard interface, enabling the CNC's integrated screens to monitor and control the robot while vice versa.
Dedicated CNCs for Laser Machines
Fanuc provides dedicated CNC solutions to support laser machines effectively. The 0i-LF Plus control is ideal for flat material processing, while the 31-LB Plus and 30i-LB Plus controls offer 5-axis laser cutting capabilities for more complex applications. By ensuring tight synchronization between laser output and axis positioning, Fanuc CNC laser commands deliver superior finishes and better quality in both thick and thin parts.
FANUC CO2 Laser Systems
Fanuc's CO2 Laser systems offer a range of power ratings, from 1kW to 6kW, for various processing applications. These systems provide high-fidelity power control, high-frequency pulsing, and precise axis/laser-synchronization through the 30i/31i-LB Plus CNC, resulting in maximum performance across different material types. By employing servo-driven Optical Path Length Control, Fanuc ensures optimal laser beam length maintenance, advancing the technology for true high-speed laser fly-cutting.
