EventPro Technical Requirements Explained

EventPro Cloud Edition (Hosted on EventPro Server)

EventPro's Cloud Edition offers the flexibility of accessing the software from anywhere with the Citrix Workspace App. Users can seamlessly connect to EventPro from various devices, including smartphones, tablets, PCs, and Macs. The recommended internet connection speed is at least 512kbps per user to ensure optimal performance. Supported email protocols include IMAP, POP3, Exchange Web Service, MS Graph, and GMail. Additionally, users can print reports using a compatible printer. For advanced integrations, the EPConnect Suite, Virtual Assistant Suite, and EventPro 2-Way API are available, requiring third-party or custom-developed programs for access.

EventPro On-Prem Edition (Hosted on your server/desktop)

The On-Prem Edition of EventPro is designed to run on Windows 10 or newer operating systems with the latest service packs. Users need to have the Microsoft .NET 4.7.2 Framework or newer installed. The system recommends a minimum of 8GB RAM and 200MB disk space for the application. Databases typically range from 500MB to 2GB, with attachments increasing storage requirements. The software supports various email protocols, including IMAP, POP3, Outlook, Exchange Web Service, MS Graph, and GMail. Network speed should be a minimum of 100MB/sec, with 1GB/sec recommended. Servers hosting the On-Prem Edition require MS-SQL 2017 or newer, with 8GB minimum RAM. Optional modules like EP Connect Suite, Virtual Assistant Suite, and EventPro 2-Way API have specific server requirements and should not be run on the same server as the main application.

Administrator Requirements (On-Prem Edition)

To manage the On-Prem Edition effectively, organizations need dedicated personnel with specific skills. A SQL Administrator is crucial for overseeing database management, while a Network Administrator handles network installations. These roles ensure the smooth operation and maintenance of the EventPro software within the organization's infrastructure.
