The Calendly Integration by Simply Great Bots is a powerful tool that allows users to seamlessly connect their Calendly account to their Botpress Bot. This integration enables users to send meeting invitations directly from their bot and receive real-time event updates when invitees schedule appointments.

How Does the Integration Work?

Upon enabling the integration, a Webhook Subscription is created for your Calendly account using the provided Access Token. This webhook triggers an event in the integration whenever an invitee registers for one of your events. By utilizing the Schedule Calendly Event action, users can generate event links by providing a Conversation Id and Calendly Event URL. The Conversation Id is embedded in the URL, allowing the bot to respond to the event within the conversation.

Utilizing Conversation Id and Calendly Events

The Conversation Id serves as a unique identifier for each conversation. Users can pass this Id to embed it in the field. When a Calendly Event is received, users can employ the Conversation ID in the Advanced Options Conversation ID field of the Calendly Event Trigger. This ensures that the event is associated with the relevant conversation, allowing for personalized bot interactions.
