At AMECO, safety is not just a priority, it is a core value that guides every aspect of our operations. We believe that a strong focus on safety is the foundation for success, both for our team members and our customers. Our mantra is to "Begin and End Safe Onsite," whether it's on a project site, in the office, or at home. This commitment to safety is ingrained in our culture and is reflected in everything we do.
We take pride in our world-class commitment to health, safety, and the environment (HSE). Our practices and procedures are designed to ensure that everyone understands their role in maintaining a safe work environment. Safety training is an ongoing process at AMECO, as we believe that proper preparation is key to reducing incidents and increasing productivity. There are four key ways in which we keep our employees safe onsite.
We start each meeting with a safety topic to keep safety at the forefront of everyone's mind. Our Job Safety Analysis (JSA) process identifies hazards associated with each job step and develops solutions to eliminate or control these hazards. Safety Task Assignments (STA) communicate the steps, hazards, and risks associated with each task to employees, along with safe work practices.
Every employee is empowered with Stop Work Authority, allowing them to stop work and notify a supervisor if they encounter a hazardous condition. In October 2021, we celebrated a significant milestone of reaching 1 million safe work hours company-wide, a testament to our unwavering commitment to safety. As members of the National Safety Council, we focus on creating a safety culture that anticipates and addresses potential problems.
In addition to ensuring our own safety, we also enhance the Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) programs of our clients. We provide the safest and most efficient scaffolding system on the market, inspect and maintain tools and supplies, offer appropriate PPE and safety supplies, monitor operator safety performance through telematics, and provide a range of other site services to support worker and site safety.
By prioritizing safety in everything we do, from safety training to operational practices, we strive to create a safer working environment for our team members and clients alike. Contact us to learn more about our commitment to safety and how we can support your safety needs.
