Join our team as a Wireless Systems Engineer specializing in Starlink Mobile, where you will focus on designing and optimizing MAC/PHY wireless algorithms for link adaptation and power control.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and simulate MAC scheduling across multiple beams, ensuring Quality of Service (QoS) and low latency.
  • Analyze inter-cell and inter-beam interference, proposing effective solutions for beam, MAC, and processing issues.
  • Conduct link-level and system-level simulations to evaluate the performance of various algorithms.
  • Collaborate with software engineers to implement and deploy algorithms effectively.
  • Validate performance through KPI analysis, telemetry data, and User Equipment (UE) log analysis.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related STEM field, with at least 1 year of experience, or 5+ years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Proficient understanding of MAC/PHY layer protocols and algorithms, particularly in cellular base station environments.
  • Familiarity with 3GPP protocols.
  • Master's or PhD in wireless systems is preferred.
  • Experience debugging production wireless networks at scale.
  • Proficiency in MATLAB, with working knowledge of Python and C/C++.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
