Join our team as a Wireless Systems Engineer specializing in Starlink Mobile, where you will focus on designing and optimizing MAC/PHY wireless algorithms for link adaptation and power control.
Key Responsibilities
Design and simulate MAC scheduling across multiple beams, ensuring Quality of Service (QoS) and low latency.
Analyze inter-cell and inter-beam interference, proposing effective solutions for beam, MAC, and processing issues.
Conduct link-level and system-level simulations to evaluate the performance of various algorithms.
Collaborate with software engineers to implement and deploy algorithms effectively.
Validate performance through KPI analysis, telemetry data, and User Equipment (UE) log analysis.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related STEM field, with at least 1 year of experience, or 5+ years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
Proficient understanding of MAC/PHY layer protocols and algorithms, particularly in cellular base station environments.
Familiarity with 3GPP protocols.
Master's or PhD in wireless systems is preferred.
Experience debugging production wireless networks at scale.
Proficiency in MATLAB, with working knowledge of Python and C/C++.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
