Unisys OS 2200 Support

We are seeking an experienced Unisys OS 2200 Application Support Specialist to provide on-call support for our client's Unisys 2200 application environment. This role involves monitoring mainframe databases, ensuring data integrity, and triaging incidents effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide on-call support for the Unisys 2200 application environment.
• Follow customer policies for incident escalation and change control.
• Monitor mainframe databases to ensure data integrity.
• Triage incidents, identifying systems software issues and application defects.
• Implement approved corrections and coordinate with change control for timely remedies.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience managing OS 2200 applications in enterprise environments.
• Working knowledge of Unisys 2200 applications development and operations.
• Familiarity with the DMS-1100 database system and TIP transaction processing.
• Knowledge of OS 2200 development tools and utilities.
• Experience with COBOL and related development utilities; MASM assembly is desirable.
• Understanding of job control using Executive Control Language (ECL).
