Job Overview

Plan and execute taxi and flight ops for Quarterhorse demonstrator aircraft. Oversee transition from remotely piloted to autonomous system to meet objectives. Maintain Subject Matter Expertise (SME) on Quarterhorse demonstrator aircraft series. Plan and develop ground and flight test procedures, run cards, and reports. Collaborate with Hermeus engineering staff and editors to deliver flight manuals and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute taxi and flight operations for Quarterhorse demonstrator aircraft
• Oversee transition to autonomous system
• Maintain SME on Quarterhorse demonstrator aircraft series
• Plan and develop ground and flight test procedures, run cards, and reports
• Collaborate with engineering staff to deliver flight manuals and documents

Requirements & Qualifications

• FAA transport pilot rating or military equivalent
• Flight test experience in military or civilian sectors, or test pilot school graduate
• Instructor pilot experience
• Knowledge of military or FAA Airworthiness requirements
• UAV group 4/5 flight experience (Global Hawk, Triton, Reaper) or equivalent
• Experience writing test plans and test procedures
