Test Engineer - Satellites

This role involves creating test stand concepts, designing and analyzing structures, supervising integration, and operating test stands with precision. The engineer will also develop test requirements and work closely with flight engineering to ensure successful test campaigns.

Key Responsibilities

• Create test stand concepts, drawings, and wiring lists
• Design and analyze structures, fluid systems, and mechanisms
• Supervise test-stand integration, fabrication, and data/control systems
• Operate test stands with high attention to detail
• Develop test requirements with flight engineering; drive campaigns to closure

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering
• 1+ years of industry experience (co-ops/internships ok)
• Designed/analyzed mechanical structures
• Hydraulic, thermal, high-pressure, vacuum systems
• Test instrumentation: pressure transducers, thermocouples, RTDs, encoders
• NX (Unigraphics) and FEA experience
