Sr. MMIC Design Engineer

Job Overview

Seeking a Senior MMIC Design Engineer with extensive experience in RF system and MMIC block hardware specifications. This role involves developing MMIC products from concept to mass production, working closely with system teams to simulate front-end circuits, and coordinating with RF/PCB teams for packaging and implementation.

Responsibilities

• Derive hardware specs for RF system and MMIC blocks
• Develop MMIC products from spec to mass production
• Simulate MMIC front-end circuits with system teams
• Determine packaging and implementation; coordinate with RF/PCB teams
• Evaluate MMIC prototypes' performance and reliability
• Aid automated test equipment for lab measurements and production testing

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering
• 5+ years RF/microwave circuit design experience
• GaAs/GaN MMIC design of PAs, LNAs, mixers, filters, PLLs
• MS or PhD in engineering with MMIC/RF emphasis
• Experience across S-band to E-band MMIC design
• ADS, HFSS, AWR RF/microwave tools
