Small Engine Mechanic

Join our team as a Small Engine Mechanic where you will diagnose and repair two-cycle and small engine equipment. You will work on a variety of equipment including chainsaws, trimmers, blowers, cut-off saws, and generators. Your responsibilities will include performing carburetor rebuilds, fuel system repairs, estimating repair time, completing repairs within established standards, and conducting routine preventative maintenance on rental fleet.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair two-cycle and small engine equipment
• Repair chainsaws, trimmers, blowers, cut-off saws, and generators
• Perform carburetor rebuilds and fuel system repairs
• Accurately estimate repair time and required parts
• Complete repairs within established turnaround standards
• Perform routine preventative maintenance on rental fleet

Requirements & Qualifications

• 2+ years of small engine repair experience preferred
• Strong understanding of 2-cycle and 4-cycle engines
• Experience with carburetors, ignition systems, and fuel systems
• Ability to read service manuals and schematics
• Valid driver's license
• STIHL certification or willingness to obtain certification
