Senior Tube Weld Technician

Job Overview

As a Senior Orbital Tube Weld Technician on the first shift, you will be responsible for setting up and operating orbital tube welding machines, purging equipment, and assembling complex assemblies at elevations. You will also be verifying weld quality visually and with a borescope, reading engineering drawings, and working on aerospace mechanical assembly projects.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate orbital tube welding machine
• Fit up and tack complex assemblies at elevations
• Verify weld quality visually and with borescope
• Read engineering drawings
• Work on aerospace mechanical assembly projects

Requirements & Qualifications

• 4+ years of OTW experience
• Experience with welding and tacking
• Experience with aerospace mechanical assembly
• Ability to read engineering drawings
• Familiarity with COPVs
• Familiarity with AWS D17.1
