Senior Security Engineer

As a Senior Security Engineer, you will lead security and IT projects aimed at enhancing our infrastructure security. You will play a pivotal role in detecting, investigating, and remediating incidents using various security tools, while also contributing to security policies and strategies within a fully remote, globally distributed team.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead security and IT projects to improve infrastructure security.
• Detect, investigate, and remediate incidents using SIEM, EDR, and SOAR.
• Conduct threat hunting across cloud and endpoint environments under a Zero Trust framework.
• Administer company-wide IAM and security monitoring infrastructure.
• Contribute to security policies, incident response, and forensics.
• Partner with Engineering to assess AI-enabled risks and workflows.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or significant security experience.
• 3+ years of hands-on security engineering and incident response experience.
• Experience with SIEM platforms and security monitoring systems.
• Proficiency in EDR tools such as CrowdStrike or SentinelOne.
• Knowledge of SOAR platforms and automation of security workflows.
• Understanding of cloud security controls across AWS, GCP, and Azure.
