Rack Product Engineer, AI Rack Infrastructure - Stargate

Own the technical definition and lifecycle of rack infrastructure. Lead rack architecture decisions across mechanical, power, cooling, and compute/network. Translate system requirements into manufacturable rack designs. Partner with design/manufacturing teams for manufacturability and installation. Support New Product Introduction (NPI) activities: prototypes, pilots, ramp-to-volume. Interface between OpenAI engineering and manufacturing partners. 10+ years in hardware product engineering, system integration, or DC infra Bachelor's in Mechanical, Electrical, or Systems Engineering (or related) Experience deploying rack-level infrastructure for compute/datacenters Demonstrated ability to drive cross-functional programs end-to-end Strong analytical and problem-solving for hardware integration issues Preferred: hyperscale DC infra or large-scale compute deployments
