PCB Librarian

Job Overview

As a Sr. PCB Librarian, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining ECAD parts libraries, working closely with design engineers and manufacturing teams to ensure the seamless integration of library parts into schematic designs.

Responsibilities

• Create library parts as needed by design engineers
• Maintain ECAD parts libraries (schematic symbol and footprint)
• Maintain shared libraries in database format
• Interface with manufacturing and design engineers
• Read datasheets and dimensioned drawings

Requirements & Qualifications

• 5+ years ECAD experience creating schematic symbols and footprints
• Proficient with Mentor Expedition and Mentor EDM
• IPC-7351 familiarity; IPC specs; CID certification
• Library configuration management experience
• PCB layout and routing experience; aerospace MIL-STD familiarity
