Part Time Psychiatric-Mental Health

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our team on a part-time basis. The successful candidate will provide psychiatric evaluation, counseling, and treatment in collaboration with PACE physicians and the interdisciplinary team (IDT).

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct in-person or telehealth psychiatric assessments.
• Collaborate with physicians and IDT to develop comprehensive care plans.
• Assist with discharge planning from acute or long-term care settings.
• Refer participants to a psychiatrist as necessary.
• Oversee care of participants in nursing homes with regular visits.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant with PMH emphasis.
• Certification as a PMHNP or PA.
• Active PMHNP/PA license without restrictions.
• CDS Certification and DEA License.
• NPI license.
• Two years of experience with frail/elderly populations.
• CPR/First Aid certification within the last 180 days.
